The plus side:

Love the color (Nassau Blue)
Very low miles 8k

The minus side:

Price is a bit high for a '98 (but there is that low miles thing)
Automatic
Those rims have got to go, Chrome is needed here.

Oh well, later tonight price won't matter and I will be looking at new after the Mega Millions pays off.

You can get a 98 with less than 100K miles for about $12K around here. No rust, sun fade is even rare, but possible.
Good luck with the lottery $460 million would work well for any of us.

Wow, 8k miles.

My MegaMil ticket is taped to the TV.
Not really, I don't get the frenzy when the jackpot gets big. I'll settle for a little ol' 10-20 mil. I'm not greedy.

meh... I don't dig the auto, myself...

keep looking, that price will depreciate as soon as you put 1000 miles on it.

Color is real nice. ..... with only 600 miles a year and is that exhaust stock? Did he drive a couple of hours to and from the track each summer to have his fun? I had a guy really try to sell me a track car with low miles (not that low!) It was spotless, even underneath....you could eat off the headers but he did disclose that it was a track car. So I passed. You don't have that luxury buying from a dealer. I guess you could say bad things about any used Vette. Sorry for my negativity. Low ball the guy....what can he say? No?
Good luck on the lottery. Seriously!
Take care,
Alan

I looked around, I think they're BillBoat Exhaust Tips, so that exhaust might not be stock.

The exhausts are not stock and I don't think they are Corsas. They are to far apart......as stated Billy Boat makes some with those GTR type tips.

Here's the Corsas...

Yes. Same Billy Boat. Drove IRL, too.

The Billy Boat exhaust has a historical tendency to be loud as hell.

Yea, the "wagon wheels" don't do a thing for me. I really do like the "thin spokes" that came out in 2000 like what Marcus and I have on ours.

I think the rims you have, Tom, are about the best ones out there. For OEM Corvette rims, that is. They are clean and just look "high performance."

The wagon wheels, oddly, work better on the C4 than the C5.

my biggest concern is that this car is priced high due to low mileage. That's all... if it had 30k or 40k on it, then it would be a $16k car. Tops. Here is the other problem... the 4L65E is not going to last much past 110k miles. They still have the same basic flaw that the 700R4 and 4L60 had... they sheer off the input shaft to the 3-4 gear pack. Shift into third and get a box full of neutral.

Nice pic TBee.....funny about the wheels, I was looking at them just yesterday thinking that I liked them a lot. I was catching a few good windows downtown as I cruised by slow....they were looooking goooood. I hope I'm not the only one who does that.....
