Tossing around selling my C4 and moving up to a C5. If not for the targa top I'd not have enough room for my head in my C4. I also inch the seat forward until my knee almost touches to allow me to tilt the seat back for a bit more comfort. Am I going to find the C5 any better?

Oh yeah...it was for me anyway. I am 6'2" and 210 and I can stretch out in the 5 much better then the 4. I liked the interior of my 90 but it was cozy for me. My son is 6'3 something and weighs 260 and he just could not get comfortable in the 4 but is lot less cramped in the 5. More room in back for your stuff, even golf clubs. Pretty tight fit for my saddle though. lol
Without offending the C4 guys you will find the C5 a totally different car.....good luck post up some pics if you find one.....which reminds me I do have one for sale that is perfect in every way.... Just saying....pm me if you want the details...thanks, Marcus |

Yes.
From my experience, the C5 has a ton of legroom and headroom. The C6 is a little tighter, somewhere in the middle. Mostly smaller in hiproom. |

The one thing I wish the c4 had (haha 1 my butt) was more leg room and the ability to tilt the seat more.

I actually loved my '85, but the headroom was a little lacking (I'm 6'3, 215). Now, the C5, as Marcus says, is a totally different car, but as far as headroom and comfort, I find it way ahead of the C4. You won't be disappointed with the comfort of the C5, but it won't "hug" you on curvy roads like the C4........at least IMO. Good luck, and post pics when you find one! |

Much more room in the C5 than the C4, including headroom.

You wear a C4, but sit in a C5.
And even though it might not feel like it the C5 will outcorner a C4 and of course the LS series engines are the new and improved SBC. All said, I still miss my C4. |
