Good Morning CGs!

Well today is the official anniversary for myself and the wife. We went out last night to celebrate. Had dinner at a little Italian place and then walked around the outdoor promenade shopping center and bought a few things. It was a nice night overall. Having no kids with you screaming and whining makes a small difference in the evening

Today I have to hit the road early and drive out to my parents' house. I have to help my dad get to some appointments. It seems he has developed (or always had) sleep apnea and it is affecting his daily abilities. So he has been doing some sleep studies and has appointments with some top neurologists. So I'll be there for a couple days then come back home.

How was everyone's weekend so far? Do anything fun?

Hope everyone has a great day!

Matthew

Nothing nearly as fun as last weekend (See Roadracing & AutoX).

Congrats on the anniversary.
Hope things work out for your dad.

Greetings, and Happy Anniversary, Matt! Not much on the agenda today. I have to treat some trees for Emerald Ash Borer before I forget. And I may putz with the Vette some. I'd just like to enjoy today while I can before the bottom falls out of the thermometer tomorrow.

Have a good day, folks!

Happy Anniversary to Matt and Happy Fall to the rest of you.

I took the Vette out for a good cruise yesterday. It's running like a champ these days. It loves cooler air for sure!

Just stoppin' by to say hi!

Hi Brad, how's it going? Is it getting cooler in your parts? We are getting a little tease of fall weather but I think Indian summer will return for a last little hot spell before it gives in for the fall and winter.

OMG - is that a GS Coupe in Ultraman's garage! Very Sweeet Ride I must say!!

Morning guys....I've been out in the shop working this morning, so getting a late start here. Hey Don. Good to see you back. Happy anniversary Matt. Marcus, it is clear and cool here, you could drive the GS (or the HD) if you were here. It is cool (65) but wonderful. Just wish it would rain.

Wife and I got to go to the "city" for groceries. I did get the cabinets glued, screwed and tatooed. Now ready for stain and finish.

Happy anniversary, Matt, hope things go well with your dad. My 'cousins' are all due at my aunt's today for dinner. Not sure why but I'm not really in the mood to go although I've said many times I'd like us all to be closer. Just feels too fake. Rained all day yesterday, has some today, supposed to tomorrow, so much for getting the grass cut. got my new iPhone preordered though. Yep, haddta have it, my old one is almost three years old. Might just turn out to be a nap day later this afternoon/evening....have a great Sunday, everyone.

I don't know about "Being Back" but I do like to stop by to see how everyone is doing.

I've been working ungodly hours and pouring most of my energies into the job. Corvette Club of America has me down as MIA as well. Lots of buddies at VIR as we speak. Sure wish I was there.

I've done a little fishing this summer when I could. I bought a nice fishing kayak to replace the sailboats but have only dunked it a few times.

Well I hope you've put the fishing kayak in the water a few times too.

Thanks for the well wishes, guys. This in anniversary six for us, nine and a half years together.

Made it to the folks in record time this morning. No popos hiding in the bushes to slow me down

Got here and made some lunch, then we trimmed my parents' two peach trees. That took a few hours but it was good because it gave my dad some work to do. He prefers to be working than sitting idle.

Good to see you back around, Don.

Sorry I'm late on the congrats Matt. It's amazing how each year only gets better. Now with 28 years under our belt, it's just simply amazing the glow that both my wife and I share. We are so much in love we just can't keep our hands off each other. I don't even have to talk anymore because she already knows what I'm thinking. I can hardly wait to get up in the morning because I know what's waiting for me. All this and more is yet to be yours.

Love is a many splendid thing.

Evening guys...bought some ears of corn today and cooked them for supper using the microwave method posted a while back. I told the wife how I was going to do it and she wasn't too keen on the idea....."Well, you just do it then." "OK I will" Two ears in the microwave for 7 minutes, cut the end off and out slid the ear with no silk strands on it. "Well, I'm impressed. You get to cook the corn from now on." Easy peasy.

What a coincidence. I know what your wife is thinking about you, too
