It will be in the mid 50s today, and the mid 60s within about two more days. Amazing. We had some cold stuff in the last two weeks, but this is nothing to complain about. Back to work after a nice little staycation. I did get a few things done around the house, most notably the lights were installed. What is on tap for everyone today? Anything good for Saturday night? We got home from the game about 11:15 last night. My GrSon played really well. I think he had 15 points, about 8-10 rebounds and 4-5 assists. They won the game 64-60.

What you don't hear about is the great things that happen everyday....the people who transform thier lives and win out against adversity. The randem acts of kindness that are happening all the time. Just this week one of those things happened and was recorded and the guy turns into a hero.....this is going on in other places all the time. So I take it upon myself to do what I can for whomever I can anytime I can if I come across a situation where I can give someone a helping hand. If we all do that it will make a difference. I have a head cold and that is slowing me down....but for Saturday night it's the HUSKER Big 10 Championship game. Sports bars and family rooms will be packed all over the Husker Nation to cheer on the Big Red. We should win this game...but you know how things go.....more on that later... Warm and foggy here this am so no Corvette unless it dries off this afternoon.... Have a great day Guru's

Good point Marcus. There is always good news to be found if you look for it. With all the news outlets, one channel should be dedicated to reporting ONLY good news. People love to hear about terrible things though. It makes their exsistance tolerable. Any day we can say, I thought my life was bad until I saw what happened to those people. They had a Craftsman edger that caught my eye. My wife saw a few things she wanted. LOL. She bought a picnic table and another patio table and chair set. That now puts the seating oprtions to over 80. She did pick up the edger for me for $35. Guess I 'll have to contact the Reverend Stig and see if he'd like to do a fund raiser here. I have to wait three days to get that one (three day waiting period on fire arms) and put it in my name. I'll get with my neighbor and we'll go over it, clean it and make sure it's in firing shape. Hell, I haven't cleaned a rifle in almost 40 years. I'm supposed to be getting a pistol for Christmas. Have to start building my home defense armory for when the anarchy starts. My neighbors are well armed and my BIL has a backhoe so we can bury the bodies quickly. Don't want to stink up the joint.

But on a brighter note, I hot a letter in the mail from a company in town offering me a free cremation. I wonder if I should take advantage of the offer right now. There may be a time limit on it.

The part on the left is riveted to the left fender well, it holds the windshield washer reservior. Thw 2 small brackets are riveted to both front wheelwells and the grill bolts to them. The 2 cabled parts are 2 of 3 seatbelt anchors And the other piece is the shifter boot reinforcement that is riveted to the bottom of the trans tunnel. I recognized the bumper brackets after you said what they were. The windshield washer bracket looks different than the one that was on my 64. Never would have guessed the seat belt straps.

I'd have to double check but I think 63/64 has a bag and not a plastic jar. Big blocks are different too.
