Getting my teeth cleaned and and an oral exam this AM. I know I'm gonna need an additional appointment to cap a tooth I chipped. That's what I get for cutting fishing line with my teeth. There's a tool for that. For all you slackers, when is the last time you went to the dentist?

Turned into a good game last night but I was glad the Ravens won since that is their first Superbowl win...Flacco is good!

The girls completed their CC classes and spent time on the range yesterday. They still have to get the actual permit from the State Patrol's office and they will have to have it renewed in 5 years. They both did well on the shooting range only hitting the ceiling once or twice....hmmmm

Make sure you understand the rules of engagement before hauling out the hardware and dispatching someone. If there is a shooting you will be in court and no doubt being sued by the losers family. Also know the rules of defending your home those can vary greatly from State to State....best thing is never having an incident happen...it gets complicated...

But as my Cop cousin always says it's better to be judged by 12 than carried by six......

The string of days where shoveling is required has been extended. Sounds like the shovel will be in use again tomorrow, too. Congrats to all the Baltimore fans - glad the second half made it interesting. I liked the Clydesdale and the Paul Harvey/Dodge commercials, and got a kick out of the Taco Bell one with the oldsters, and the Oreo commercial. Overall I thought the crop of commercials were weak this year, though.

Wow...4 times a year.....that's uhhh...unusual... The Paul Harvey commercial was excellent...I listended to him for 30 years....still won't by a Ram though...several good car commercials....

good morning gurus. we got 3"s of snow sat nite. fired up the snow blower and cleaned my drive and the neighbors. went down to my loading room and done some wiring . got it all fixed the way i wanted it. now to finish the .243 coyote hunting gun im building. yeah i dont go to the dentist anymore. i just mail them in and get done whats needed har har. glad to see the ravens win. i remember when the rams played them in the super bowl. they were tough.

Morning guys....It's a pretty day here looking for mid 50's. I go to the dentist twice a year for checks and cleaning. I was just there a couple weeks ago. Unlike most here, I like having my teeth cleaned. My wife is like Brad, four times a year, and she always seems to have problems.

I didn't get the standard semi-annual lecture on the need to brush twice a day and floss regularly from the hygenist. The doc said he could fill the chipped tooth. That's good news. It's much cheaper than a crown. I still need to get a primary care physician and I'm way overdue for a chest x-ray. prostate exam and a colonoscopy. I really have to move that stuff up the list on the things I need to do. Just so happens that two of the three are things I least like to do. No, you maroons ..... The chest x-ray is NOT one of the two.

...just when you were starting to feel good about things...and we are only 13 trillion down.....
