Not much going on. Temps in the low 40's today with a chance of rain tonight. Good Morning CGs!
Had a pretty decent weekend over all. I did get a chance to pull the FIL's range apart yesterday. One of the coils in the heating element burned itself up so there is no continuity. I have to order that part and get it swapped. Now that I know how it comes apart it's a 15 minute job. Should turn out to be a pretty nice day today weatherwise. I spoke to Dana at Probuilt on Friday about putting together a rebuild kit for me. I have to email him the final details but I'll get to that tonight hopefully so he can set it all up. Well we got one good day of weather but not today and a big snow coming on Wednesday...oh joy! Well I will get to use the new snowblower....you have to look for the good things in life....
I feel like someone beat me with the soil probe this morning...yikes! We have a big hydrolic probe but it is in storage and I did not want to go to the trouble of getting it loaded up into the pickup just for the few fields we have to do.....sooooo I did it the old fashioned way with a Honda Rancher and a hand probe.....the ground had a bit of frost line so you had to bang on it get the sample and that is what I'm feeling today. Hell of a way to make a living. Normal work week for me but am looking forward to Phoenix at the end of the month..... Have a great day good buddies......we'll catch you on the flip side..... |

One beautidul day left (58) then Marcus's snow will blow thru tonight and we'll have some days of mid 40's.
