Good morning gang.
Well it's nasty out here this morning. We had snow and freezing rain overnight which made the drive to work slow. It is suppose warm up today and change over to just rain. Temp now is 24* and freezing rain. Should warm up to mid 30's by lunch time. Hope those of you a litte further North West than I are doing good. Today is Edward_Gorey's birthday. The back pain is back. I had to get up in the middle of the night for an intruder alert at the nursery. Locked and loaded but found nothing. Lucky them. I had to get up anyway to take some antacids. We ate at our neighbors and she made spagetti with garlic bread. I took some antacids before I went to bed but it wasn't enough. She must use some high acid tomato paste. My neighbor next door is moving in some heavy $#!+ today and I offered to help. It's not like I can f@(% up my back any more than it already is. Maybe I can actually realign it with the right lift. But before I do that, we have a truckload of citrus coming in at the nursery. When it comes to what needs to be done, backaches take the back seat. I can always hurt later. Good thing we have a Jacuzzi. Update on my sons employment. There is nothing to report. Sonofabitch! Well, we're up and running ................. |

Storms over and the sun is shining...we are sending it on east for you guys to enjoy. It snowed but not like they thought it might. We have maybe 5 or inches of the white stuff. I will get to use the snowblower and have to get it done quickly because its garbage day and they won't pick up if they can't get in.
Tommy you should go get a tune up at the bone cruncher...and I have an idea...have your son come unload those trucks...he isn't doing much else right now and could use some good manual labor....tell him I said it would be good for him....  Better get at it...the snow waits for no man...be back later.....let's be careful out there Guru's..... |

Happy Friday! We got a nice blanket of greasy snow overnight, so it was a delightful commute, full of white-knucklers. Actually it was pretty smooth overall, but slow.

I think I will ask for funding....Mmmm 50 Million ought to do it....to study the amazing affects on the human brain and common sense reasoning that become totally diminished when a person enters Washington DC. Is it in the water or the soils up there? What? How can a man or woman leave his home with all the right thinking and ambitions to do what is right and 6 month's later he or she is nothing more then a zombie trying to line their own pockets..
I think the Guru should apply for he Grant...we have experts in all fields of endevors and I will handle all the money...no really you can trust me.....we just can't go to Washington because then we might become a Washzombi like them...... Got the snow moved and now settling in for a nice bowl of porrage..... |

It rained a monsoon here yesterday and last night, sleet the night before. Supposed to be a tad warmer and a little sun today. I'd really like to get the car cleaned up sometime. I have things to do, just not in any mood to do them.

After I unloaded the delivery truck with the office girl, (she's a great worker), my wife asked that I bring the cooler she forgot. They're working a show in Key Largo. They didn't have any drinks or food and there wasn't anyplace nearby.Picked up one of my heighbors. After we got there, we walked the show. I's wasn't a big show so I was ready to go after about 10 mionutes. We decided to come home the back way. A nice lightly traveled twisty road with a big bridge. After the bridge there is a little place we stopped for lunch called Alabama Jacks. I opted for double appertizers and a Coke and my bud had the fried shrimp. My appertizers? Bahamian conch chowder and an order of conch fritters. Made the ride worthwhile. I'm back home now and what needed to be done is done. My other neighbors unloaded their trailer while I was on the Key Largo run. Guess there's nothing for me to do but inspect the back of my eyelids for an hour or two. I hope no light breaks through.
