Good Morning CGs!

Looking outside and there is frost covering everything. I am not ready for this weather. In fact, I don't think I am ever ready for this. Still driving the Vette today. I will put it away once the snow sticks to the ground. The flurries the other day don't count.

Took the kids to the movies yesterday so that was a nice treat for everyone. Not much else going on around here.

Don't forget to set your clocks back for DST.

Hope everyone has a great day!

Matthew

SUNNY AND COOL IN THE NATIONS THIS MORNING, A PRETTY DAY COMING UP.

THIS JUST IN FROM WASHINGTON:
VICE PRESIDENT BIDEN WAS NOTICED THIS MORNING TO BE COVERING HIS PENIS WITH BLACK SHOE POLISH. “GET YOUR HEARING CHECKED, JOE,” HE WAS TOLD, “YOU’RE SUPPOSED TO TURN YOUR CLOCK BACK.”

Morning guys....That was quite a collection Tommy. I am up and around, trying to get used to the time change. My body was telling me to get up at 5:55, but I fought it off and slept 'til 7:20. I need to go finish up that counter top today and then go work on a computer later and set up a router (computer version, not woodshop )

Does anybody really know what time it is...?

Sunny windy and kinda cold out....took the GS into the game and then church last night...the heated seats felt real good on the way home last night....its a joy to drive...lots of get up and go in the cool air....the car was made to cruise at 85.....

I am in goof off mode today but trying to stay out of Uwoman's line of sight....I am sure she has things for me to do.....idle hands are the devils workshop is her mantra...

Huskers won yesterday but it was ugly....so many screw ups....bye week and the a trip to Wisconsin which will be a big game.....and then the Gophers here....

Have a nice day off Guru's....

Hidey-ho! Should be back in the 50's today, so I'd better get out there and pick up some more leaves today after the football game. Once the leaves are all gone I have to get some fertilizer down, too. Soon the 6 months of no yard work will begin.

Enjoy your Sunday, Gurus!

A little warmer here today, 58 but cloudy. The sun finally came out a couple hours ago. Did the nursing home thing and instead of preaching a couple of locals were there playing gospel music on their guitars. Preacher was there for a couple short words and prayers but it was nice. One of the guys that played is a friend of mine, owns the Ford dealership there. The lady that sang is the mayor. Left there then drove about an hour and went junk sale shopping. Didn't get anything but was out of the house. Stopped for a burger, fries and ice cream cone at a well known dairy freeze on the way back - love the place. Should've known that ice cream would not sit well but it was good. The time change already has me screwed up - was up at 6:30. That's nuts. Why again do we have to do this? I could care less what time the sun comes up, let it be light when I get off work at night.

Evening.....I got the top done, waiting for the owner to buy his sink, so I can cut that out in the top. Cleaned the shop up and put stuff away. Went to school and did a couple jobs for the basketball coach. Came home and get the computer to deliver and set up. plugged things in and the sorry SOB wouldn't boot. I hate things like that, she worked fine here at the house. So unplugged everything and brought it home, would boot here. So I jump into the bios and find somethings different, make a few changes and it's back up and running. So haul it back and get him running.

It's been fairly warm, but the wind has been blowing hard all day.
