Good morning gang.

Looks like rain today with temps in the upper 40's and cooling off later tonight. Back to cold weather starting tomorrow.

Word of the Day Tuesday, December 16, 2014

subfuscous \ suhb-FUHS-kuhs \, adjective;

1. slightly dark, dusky, or somber.

Origin:

Subfuscous entered English in the mid-1700s from the Latin subfuscus.

Today is NATIONAL CHOCOLATE COVERED ANYTHING DAY

If you are a chocolate lover, December 16th is your day! So if you could cover anything in chocolate, what would it be? There are so many foods that are improved by covering them in chocolate we do not have time to list them all. So go ahead, indulge, as this day is a chocolate lovers dream come true.

CHANUKAH

Hanukkah (Hebrew: חֲנֻכָּה, usually spelled חנוכה pronounced [χanuˈka] in Modern Hebrew, also romanized as Chanukah or Chanuka), also known as the Festival of Lights, is an eight-day Jewish holiday commemorating the rededication of the Holy Temple (the Second Temple) in Jerusalem at the time of the Maccabean Revolt of the 2nd century BCE. Hanukkah is observed for eight nights and days, starting on the 25th day of Kislev according to the Hebrew calendar, which may occur at any time from late November to late December in the Gregorian calendar.

Mbombongi poia!

I get to start the day at somewhat of a relaxed pace, have to stop at the dentist this morning for a cleaning before heading to the office. We got a little blanket of snow overnight. I have to admit that it looks better than brown grass.

Have a good day, yawlz!

Good Morning CGs!

Day off but decided to go in to work a little later anyway. Can't be a little extra holiday cash. Wife is also working so kids are with Babcia.

I have to make it over to my mom's later and do a little work. She bought some shelving that I have to cut down and fit to a small utility closet in the laundry room. No big deal. Have tools, will travel.

Rain here as well, temps around 45. Will drop to freezing temps tomorrow. Oh well, it was fun while it lasted.

Hope everyone has a great day!

Matthew

I figured out the semi made 4.6 mpg yesterday due to the wind.....yikes! 6.1 the day before when it was not so windy.....I can live with 6 mph especially when pulling 94,000 lbs.

Cold and windy today also but no snow.....winter has returned for the duration I'm thinking...

Farmers coming by the office today to talk shop....not much else going on....

Stay fresh Guru's......

BACK FROM BIG D, WHERE ALL ROADS ARE UNDER CONSTRUCTION. NO FUN DRIVING IN DALLAS ANY MORE. WHEN I WAS YOUNG DALLAS TRAFFIC WAS A LOT LIKE A FREE-FORM ROAD RACE; NOW IT JUST CRAWLS BETWEEN CONCRETE BARRIERS.

OVER CAST AND COLD THIS MORNING; LOOKS LIKE WE HAD A LITTLE STORM WHILE WE WERE GONE, INCH OF RAIN, SOME BLOW-DOWNS.

HERE'S A FUNNY:

Good mawnin.

Gorgeous Florida day today. Started in the 50's, into the 60's now, bordering 80 later. It's a sunny, partly cloudy day. Picked up some free Koi that someone gave us. 6 more fish in the pond. I have stuff to do. Way behind thanks to the Mrs.
