It is in fact a glorious morning here in South Florida. Pleasant morning temps. Great for outdoor activities (like washing trucks). I'm trying to refind my center. It's been long lost. Find where I feel good about life. See the good side in all that surrounds me. Express gratitude for the gifts I have received. Not be the grumpy old curmudgeon I have been of late. Rigginfriggin sassafrasson shidilabop.

Good Morning CGs!

Slept in a bit today, but the kids weren't having any of that so they were in our room bouncing all around.

Not much on the agenda today, a workout, maybe a trip to mom and dad's to move some boxes, might hit a store or two.

Hope everyone has a great day!

Matthew

My friend Gary drove for a guy named Gordy Oftedahl back then. I believe they took a F5000 car and put a Can-Am body on it.

I have a really nice Lola tee shirt.

Yea, there were come conversions like that, pic in your link of one with a Frisbee body on it.
Most of the Can-Ams were purpose built though.

The T330's were very good cars. Funny that at the same time Lola built the T340 Formula Ford and it was a gawd awful handling car. commonly referred to as the "Flexy Flier".

I did a little work on a F5000 last week, sure would like to drive it.

Think I'll play with the C2 today. I have to hand pack the rear wheel bearings though

Almost as bad as plumbing............but not as comical.

After messing with trucks all week I'm looking forward to getting back to work on Quicksilver.... Gotta get it wrapped up saw 2 C6's and a C5 out yesterday on my journeys.....

The Kenworth has an 18 speed Auto in it and I really like it and I'm a shifty type guy.....the computer will skip shift if it senses less load.....my drivers think its for pussy's.......so I can't tell them that I really like it.......

Nice here today and will be warm...in the 50's......have a nice day off Guru's...

Howdy! Sun is shining again today (it was short-lived yesterday after all). Got a kick out of Tom's plumbing saga - it answered the question "What could possibly go wrong?" I should get all our valves switched over to ball valves one of these days, too.

Think I'll hit the tanning joint and go get some crud washed off of the truck today (it's been 3 days since it was last washed). I don't recall seeing a Vette on the street in quite some time.

Morning guys....seasonably warm out there, but the 30mph breeze makes it feel a bit cooler. I've recovered from my plumbing fiasco last night. I slept in until after 8. Waiting for Rosie to come back from her walk and we will head to the "city" for grocery shopping. She decided not to go to visit her dad today, I guess. We will spend the time around here.

I turned the sprinkler system on to run a couple times so the lawn gets some moisture.

Hey guys....Yea, that's funny, Tommy. I did get home and decided to wash the truck and the Caddy. Got to use my new little vacuum. A Metro-Vac Wash and Blo......that ought to bring out some good ones. it's a powerful little vacuum. I think I'm going to like it.

A little chicken parm, cheese bread and vino, and seeing the Packers get sent packing - it's a good day.
