Good Morning CGs!

Well, there was no sea of water in the basement when I awoke this morning so I guess my plumbing repair might hold up after all. Did I mention I hate plumbing (who's with me, TB?).

Supposed to be 39* today and that is quite reasonable for the last day of January. It will snow tomorrow and then drop to 21 on Monday.

When I get home tonight I will try to paint the walls in the basement that I patched up, shouldn't be too bad of a job. One large wall and two really small ones. Maybe a couple hours total. Then the next project is the tile, but I still need to pick up the thinset.

Hope everyone has a great day!

Matthew

I'm off to a small job, so you guys take it easy (or anyway you can get it) and I'll check in later.

WHO KNEW WD40 COULD DO ALL THAT, WOW!

CLOUDY IN THE NATIONS THIS MORNING, THE CHEROKEES ARE WAITING FOR THE RAIN.

MAKING PREPARATIONS FOR IMBOLIC AND THE DAY AFTER.

The ultimate result of shielding men from the effects of folly is to fill the world with fools.

Greetings! Put a pretty good dent in my pillow again. Dreary outside, and there's a below-zero overnight temperature in our near future. Hopefully the dip will be short-lived. Fortunately WD-40 is effective in the cold as well. Congrats on your successful plumbing job, Matt!

Enjoy your Saturday, Gurus!

No, but it's useful when you get your panties in a wad.

Why am I not surprised that you wear panties? Probably more comfortable while you're wearing racing attire.

Big snow and bad weather all day....not a lot of accumulation at this time but its trying.....

Went in to Omaha today to Nebraska Furniture Mart....the worlds biggest furniture store......Uwoman thinks every 20 years she should get a new couch....what up with that? Geez.....hell I think we got the whole set of furniture we have now including the end tables and coffee table for what we paid for the couch.....when did everything go up so much? The old stuff looks good to me....

Anyway I'm home and got a fire in the fireplace and watching American Restoration on Netflicks.....nice!

All U have to do is vacuum the farts out of the old one and you're good for another 20.

LOL. I was trying to push up the bid on an item I previously purchased on ebay. Don't ask me why. I didn't wan't someone to steal it. Well, I won it so now I've got 2. The first one I won is in dispute now. They didn't pack it well and it got a little f'd up in shipping. On top of that there was something missing. I expect they'll make good on there end of the bargain.

Hey guys...been a busy day. Doing a couple small jobs, looking at a complete kitchen job, then figuring a bid. Looks like my summer is piling up. Tomorrow I'm going out to another job to consult on the kitchen design. Not enough time to do the job, but they want my input and design knowledge. So, I'll do that, I've done work for these people before.

Been rainy and chilly all day and its raining a little this evening. Supposed to be cold tomorrow.
