Heck...I think that sounds like vert weather....

Well the Grand Sport engine beautification project is done....I changed the oil multiple times in my own garage with the help of some Rhino Ramps I got at O'reilys.....I was surprised after draining the original oil which was very dark and replacing it with new oil and running the car for about 15 minutes how dark that oil was when I drained it.....its an expensive way to flush and engine.

Anyway got it all done and drove it around and out to get fuel and then drove it some more and no leaks fires or otherwise scary things happened....hopefully that is all behind me now.... I had the new halon fire extinguisher about 6 inches from me the whole time..... Going to install it in the car today....

Weather is good here today......enjoy your time off Guru's......

Greetings! I must be slipping - I got up long before the clock hit double digits. Actually, my son called from the airport - he is off to NYC for business. I've only been there a couple times - the first time was in 2000, and we made the most of it - saw a lot of sights, went to a Yankees game, and had a drink at the top of the World Trade Center. Glad I was able to do that.

Great to hear the car is back to normal, Marcus! I saw my Vette the other night - it's still hibernating peacefully.

Have a good day, yawlz!

Up early working on the basement mini-remodel. Have to go to IKEA and pick up a new shelving unit as well. Always something.

Hope everyone has a great day!

Got up a little later this morning, just had time to get ready to go to church. After church headed over to the "city" for breakfast and a little shopping. Today is Rosie's birthday, so I took her out for breakfast. Got home, and did some things around here she wanted/needed done. Switched the beds around at #2 house started moving stuff from the storage shed to the extra garage on #2 property. I figure, if I am going to pay rent on a storage building, I may as well pay my daughter. Hopefully I'll get the other storage shed cleaned out soon.

While I was over moving stuff the guy I sold my 01 to calls me and wants to show me what he's done to it. He's put all the "bling" stuff on. The chrome taillight covers, chrome license plate chrome letters, front and back, on the steering wheel and dash, and the chrome sill plates. It's not for me, but it's his and he can do whatever pleases him.

I have a Knights of Columbus meeting here pretty soon. So I better get going.

Happy Birthday to Rosie!

And yeah, I'm not a big fan of all the blingy stuff, either, but to each his own.
