Morning guys....We got a little rain last night, but no snow yet. Right now it's sunny and cool out. The boys and the girls teams both won. Boys came out steaming and never looked back. GS had 15 or 18 points, 4 blocked shots, 6 assists, and 10 or 12 rebounds. He had a good game.

Work to do in the shop, so I better get to it.

Started a REALLY high horsepower build yesterday,

Not thrilled with the aftermarket crankscraper but, I'm going to use it rather than building one.

Speaking of horsepower, watch this P1 pull away from a new C7 Z06 at 1:20 min. Of course, it should for the $$$ but geeze.

I'll take the Z though if anyone's planning on sending me a birthday gift.

$900 stock crankshaft for a 4 cylinder engine - just stupid.

I believe the P1 would cost a bit more than the new Z....I like the sound of Z06......I'll get you one Bill...just as soon as I can get those 6 little numbers to line up right...

Been up early and doing chores and now am about ready for my morning nap....

Have a good weekend Guru's.....Sunshine here.....Glad your GS had a great game Tom......very nice!

The C7 Z06 is heavier than I would have hoped - the McLaren P1 shows the price of lightness.

3075 (which is still heavy) vs 3524 (which is stupid).

I prefer 1140.

Warmer here, up to 36 today - ice has melted off stuff but still raining and ugly out. SO sick of this crap. And bored. Going stir crazy cooped up in here with nothing to do.
Happy Saturday -
Laid deer jerky meat out to thaw so I can get started on that and made some grape Kool Aid, that's been bout it.

Well, it's gone from sunny and cool to cloudy, damp and colder. The snow is headed this way. That P1 is impressive.

Been working on cabinet doors most of the day. Ready to hang them.

I keep getting text messages from my nephew telling us how my brother is doing. The messages are very positive. This morning we awoke to an email from my sister, and she is having a real tough time with the goings on with my brother, and said she doesn't think that she can go see him like this. She refers to the last time we were all together and how good it was.

So,I just got a phone call from my sister. She crying and worried that everyone will think she's a bad sister for her feeling the way she does. She has talked to SIL and told her, SIL says she understands. Has talked to other brother, he feels the same way, so she was wanting to talk to me. She says even though nephew is very positive in his texts, things are not that positive and that things are actually pretty bleak. Nobody has given up, but things just aren't improving much. She's afraid that if we all show up it will send a message to my brother that things are final and he will just give up. None of us want that.

So here I sit not sure what to do. I told my sister that if the weather outlook was better, Rosie and I would probably make the 4 hour journey. It's a five hour trip for her and about 1 1/2 hours for little brother.

Please be thinking good thoughts for my brother and his family.

Hola, amigos! It has been tough here this week, wind chill has been around 80 and sometimes you have to wait 30 seconds for someone to bring another refreshing beverage or something to eat. I am not looking forward to leaving paradise for complete suck.

Geez Tom....someone at the hospital has to know how his condition is and the long term prognoses.........I would say everyone should take turns dropping in to say hi and to tell him that everyone is praying for his recovery....if things do go downhill which I pray does not happen, she and all of you will feel better because you went.....

THIS REMINDS ME OF ONE OF THE MOST ASTOUNDING THINGS I’VE EVER SEEN. I WAS DRIVING EAST OUT OF OKC ONE MORNING ON I-40, WITH RUSH HOUR TRAFFIC ALL GOING WEST. A TRUCK TIRE AND WHEEL, SANS TRUCK, CAME FLYING DOWN AN ON-RAMP, PAST IN FRONT OF ME, WENT ACROSS THE MEDIAN INTO 75 MPH TRAFFIC THAT WAS MORE OR LESS BUMPER TO BUMPER. I WAS EXPECTING IT TO GO THROUGH A WINDSHIELD AND LEAVE TEETH, HAIR, AND EYEBROWS GOD KNOWS HOW FAR ALONG THE INTERSTATE. INSTEAD, IN THE NATURE OF A MIRACLE, IT HIT SQUARE ON A FRONT BUMPER, WENT AIRBORNE, CAME BACK ACROSS THE MEDIAN AND PASSED BEHIND ME. THE GOING TO WORK TRAFFIC NEVER EVEN SLOWED DOWN AS FAR AS I COULD TELL. DON’T KNOW WHERE THE WHEEL CAME FROM OR WHERE IT WENT. UNFORGETTABLE.

TURNED INTO A REALLY NICE DAY TODAY, SUN CAME OUT & GOT UP TO 50. WHOO WHOO!

You're right Marcus.

Been raining lightly all afternoon. Still above freezing so let it rain. The cold front is supposed to move through sometime tonight and the rain changes to snow.

The snow has begun! BIG flakes and coming down fast. No wind, so that's good. Not sticking yet as the ground must be too warm.
