Happy Friday to everyone. Looking forward to some days off to R&R.

We had a miserable round of storms yesterday and last night in to this morning. Unfortunately Illinois experienced some more tornadoes slightly west of us. We were unaffected but it's always sad to hear about those involved.

Not much else to report.

It was snowing sideways last night for a while, but most of it melted. I did get to chisel some ice off of the truck this morning, so that was delightful. They keep teasing us with promises of mid 60's and sunny tomorrow - they'd better be right. Meanwhile, it is supposed to rain more today, but if I use my imagination, I can see little patches of blue sky.

Morning guys...cold here this morning, 25 on my thermometer. Car show tomorrow, so it's supposed to rain. Hopefully I'll be home before that starts, but if I'm not, I'll just have to clean it up again. Heading to Amarillo Sunday. A Corvette friend from many years passed and they are having a memorial service for him. Meeting up with a couple other Corvette guys there.

Sun is shining and we are going to hit about 70 degrees today so let the work commence......nice to see the sun.....sun sun sun sun....that reminds me of a song......

Tom is that a service for Yoda? There will be one up here but not until the 22nd of May. I don't know why the long time in-between. He was from here originally and we had some good chats about the town and the Huskers of course....great guy.

Yup, Yoda. I might try to come to the service up there too. It happens right after we get out of school.

Yoda (Bud) was the driving force behind the L81 registry. His knowledge of early Corvettes, and particularly L81's, was pretty amazing. He has a rare 81 (IIRC), I don't recall the specifics on it, but it has some unique combination of options on it. I'm guessing it will be for sale, as I'm not sure his wife will keep it.

That's great if I knew the girls were going to receive it I would throw in a couple of bucks.....they made me smile....

High of 88* Wednesday and 86* yesterday. So what do we get today? Thunderstorms and high of 63*. Weird even for our area.

I MANAGED TO GET OFF THE BAX IN TIME AND DO THE OLD ARMOR SCHOOL BRAVO PAPA & HOTEL ALPHA SO I DIDN'T LOSE MUCH TIME.

NOW IF I CAN JUST SELL SOMETHING TOMORROW---
