Good morning gang.

Not much happening here. I replaced the rocker switch for the passenger window in the vette the other day. The switch itself wasn't bad but the rocker lever was. IE the piece that you actually push with your finger. It just slips over the switch. New switch different style rocker so had to replace the whole thing.

Been busy here at work. That is a good thing. Bad thing is I'm tired when I get home. Next project is to fix an ac plug connector for the high pressure switch of the ac system on my truck. Got the plug yesterday so looks like I'll have a weekend project lined up.

Should be nice today with chance of thunderstorms on and off. Temps in the upper 80's with the humidity in the upper 50's. I hate it but it sure beats the snow.

Have a great day gang.

Iho javotoho!

It was 58 and rainy on the way in - I'll bet the guy on the chopper with short sleeves and no helmet was having a delightful commute. Good day to be indoors, supposed to be like this all day.

Stay dry, Gurus!

Morning guys....this pace is getting to me. My muscles hurt all over, arms, legs, back and shoulders. Obviously, I'm not used to this type of work. Today is fiberglass insulation right off the bat. I'm wearing long sleeves and pants, safety glasses and a mask...not really looking forward to today.

Supposed to be, not as hot as the last couple days. We got some rain last night, not like Marcus though. I think he got some rough weather.

THE SUN IS SHINING ON THE NATIONS TODAY, SEEMS A LOT LIKE SUMMER. THE CHEROKEES ARE GOING FISHING WHILE THE WATER IS UP.

DID BETTER AT THE LEAGUE SHOOT YESTERDAY EVENING, EXCEPT STATIONS 7 & 8 WHERE YOU'RE SHOOTING INTO THE SUN. I USED TO BE DEADLY ON STATION 8 BUT NOW I'M TOO OLD AND SLOW.

I DIDN'T REALLY FEEL OLD UNTIL I FOUND OUT MY BLOOD TYPE HAD BEEN DISCONTINUED :-0

We did have some rough weather along with 2 inches of rain....no ice or tornadoes in our area though......geez what a year so far....

Ya Tee its always better to insulate when its 95 degrees or more....the sweat helps you to itch more....... We.....er....Uwoman did all the insulation on the addition when we put it on years ago. She had an outfit that looked like she could go on a space walk and be ok. Wish I had a pic.......

Well it will be muddy out looking at fields today.....and more rain on the way. An inch around here can be all it takes for a flash flood.....the ground is completely saturated......

Move forward with gusto today Guru's.........lets roll!

Got a call last night in response to a letter I sent to the owners of 1.19 acres behind our house. They said they had the lot for years and weren't thinking of doing anything with it. Sue and his wife chatted a bit and Sue threw them a price. .95 acres of it is a NCF, a National Conservation Forest designation, which means you can build on about .24 acres. Enough for a house or a big shop/garage. The rest is supposed to stay natural. We'll see how it goes. We told them we'd be happy to entertain a counter proposal. The wife said she'd get back with us. I sure hope she does. Countdown is on. 3 days till launch.

Just thinking about how much work it would take to clean up an overgrown acre+ lot. By the time it would be done I'd look like Paul Bunyan.

Took my car in for an alignment and naturally, the door panel is now falling off. Amazing how they manage to break something that I handled just fine for so many years.

This is the first time I didn't do it myself. I'll buy some better tools for it later when I have a flat place to do the work.

We're getting drizzle and clouds here from the hurricane down in Mehico. I got caught in it yesterday on the motorcycle, front end washed out turning on a patch of wet concrete, my heart skipped a beat!

It was only a matter of time. My coworker has one and the design of the door locks on these is no good. Getting in the car with a dead battery is a joke too. It's like asking people to find the emergency stairs they've never used before in a building on fire that are hidden in the corner of the hallway furthest from the elevator. Stuff like this needs to be 100% intuitive when you're in a panic. I wonder if you can even remove the roof with the windows up.

Insulation in, all the preliminaries done, sheetrock going up this afternoon. Not real hot yet, thank goodness, it's still uncomfortable though.

Cool story about the guy and his blood. I reviewed with Rosie last night about the emergency release in the 007 in case she didn't know. Will the top come off without the doors being open? I'd almost bet it would if I had to get it off. Two levers in the front, one in the back, off it comes.
