Good Morning CGs!

Sunny and warm here. Almost hot already. Should be a nice day to take a dip in the pool. Funny story about that. Had the windows open last night and at about 1:30 am my wife wakes me up and says "What's that noise? Is that the pool pump?" Well, the pool pump was off when I went to bed, but it was on high power for some reason. I looked outside and didn't see anything, so I just went outside and turned it off. Must have been an animal that walked by and hit the switch. Didn't bother me, but I think it gave her an uneasy feeling at first.

Going to spend some time with the kids today and not sure what else.

Hope everyone has a great day!

Matthew

I'm a slow starter. Need to get my two cups of coffee in before my train leaves the station. Lots to do as usual. I have some brick to move first then I'll see where the day leads me from there.

Morning guys....sitting here at the dentist's office, waiting on Rosie to have a crown put on. Supposed to be hotter today, into the lower 90's and the humidity is going to be higher than normal.

I'll get home after while and work in the shop. I had, kind of, a panic attack this morning thinking about what I am going to do when my cabinets get here. I have to get my shop in order very quickly. Trying to get several small jobs done before I start on my cabinet, and that is making the shop a bit of a mess. I really need a bigger shop, but that ain't going to happen. I'll just have to learn to get by.

You should consider a balanced diet including fiber to help with that.

I'm sure TB's idea of a "messy" shop is my idea of a "clean" garage

Hood had a mark in the bodywork that you could just barely see - 8 hours to fix it and prep the whole hood for paint.

Installed one of the headlight buckets, dropped the pivot for the other one and the cast part exploded, $50 part, should be here today along with some wiring harness tape (trying to save a $500+ harness).

Today- try to remove the 1970's paint from the wiper arm shafts so I can shoot blackout in the wells.

Got the tach and speedo cables restored.

Matt, try balancing this.

I just ate some animal crackers. Does that count as fiber?

BACK FROM BECKHAM COUNTY. WHAT A DIFFERENCE A MONSOON MAKES! WHAT LOOKED LIKE A DESERT IS ONCE AGAIN GREEN, ABNORMALLY GREEN FOR THIS TIME OF YEAR. LOOKS NORMAL EXCEPT FOR THE DEAD TREES ALONG THE WATER COURSES. THEY WON'T GROW BACK IN MY LIFETIME.

LOT OF DOVE AND LOT OF WATER. IT RAINED YESTERDAY MORNING AND THERE WAS WATER IN EVERY COW TRACK. DOVE WERE NOT COMING INTO MY QUARTER SECTION POND AS THEY USUALLY DO, HOPE THAT'S DUE TO THE MORNING'S RAIN. SAW A LOT OF TEAL & SOME RESIDENT CANADAS. TEAL ARE AS MUCH FUN AS DOVE, FLY 90 MPH.

PONDS ARE ALL FULL SO I WILL BE ABLE TO SPREAD THE LABOR DAY MOB OUT SO THEY DON'T SHOOT EACH OTHER.

Those are in good shape, usually the splines are all stripped.

On my way to work I saw a C5 with a winking headlight. Made my day. Poor guy couldn't afford a nice car.

Yea, lucky. Only one mark on one spline. Just used a wire wheel on the Dremal .2 minutes per.

Only a quarter inch of the black shaft will show thru the grills.
