Good Morning CGs!

The weekend is over. Had two birthdays to celebrate this past weekend. Mom's was on Sat and BILs was on Sun. Sat we went over there for some cake and ice cream. Sun we went to the Hibachi grill and had a nice meal. A good time was had by all.

Kids are off of school this week for spring break. Plan for the grown ups today is I have to go to the Sprint store and get my new phone. We might also go look at the granite place for some new countertops. Not sure if that will happen. RR#1 was complaining her ear hurt last night, so hoping it's not an ear infection. If it is still bad today, she get a trip to the doctor.

Greetings! It was a blistering 27 degrees this morning, and it's gonna be a sweltering 41 later this afternoon. Yesterday it was 68. Kill me now.

I see the Twinkies are chasing the Royals already. I'm going to go to our home opener next Monday with a friend. From the looks of the forecast, I'm gonna need a babushka.

Morning guys...I guess my Royals are off to a good start. Couldn't find them on the TV last night and my wife convinced me they weren't on, as this game didn't show on the season schedule that we had. I think that the TV schedule listing was showing a different game, but that it really was the Royals playing. Thanks for the update Marcus.

I'm off to hang some new kitchen cabinets today. Hopefully the owners got all the old ones out, otherwise it will be a slow start for me.

You bet Tee.....actually I fell asleep...er I was dozing in the big chair with a comfortable 4-0 lead and woke up just in time to see the comeback so stayed up later than I like......lucky it did not go into extra innings....

Today is a nice day so we will try to get a lot done in the great outdoors....we have not had a lot of rain this spring so far......#2 daughter and her fiancé got in from driving back from Seattle last night.....she is interviewing for a job in the Lincoln area and they plan to be married next year......they move out they move in......so confusing...

Had a wonderful week away. Met up with Andy and Tamiza for dinner before we headed out on the cruise. They were gracious enough to pick us up dockside when we returned. We spent the afternoon together Saturday as they gave us a locals guided tour of the surrounding area. Stopped for lunch at a local eatery where we enjoyed a very enjoyable lunch and later dropped us off at LAX. We got home EARLY Sunday morning. How early? Landed at 05:30 and walked in the door just after 07:00 AM. Went to sleep as soon as we got home. Today we start back the old grind. Well, for another 8 weeks till we head to Seattle for another Alaskan escape. We won a few thousand at the card table but spent a few thousand more getting it. Time to build up another war chest. Here are a few pics of our escapades in Cabo San Lucas, Mazatlan and Puerto Vallarta. We had a great time as always. Haven't really had a bad cruise but some are definitely better than others. This one was just OK. Puerto Vallarta was our favorite port. Here are pics of The Queen Mary, Cabo and Mazatlan.
