Damn.
Got more than she bargained for. My wife is sort of in the same catagory. I let her adopt 1 cat. We now have 7. Puppies should be fairly easy to adopt out. Kittens too. Cats, not so much. I am not amused. |

Kudos to her for adopting from the shelter. She's a pretty dog, the puppies shouldn't be too hard to place.

...My wife is sort of in the same catagory. We moved to Florida five years ago with one cat. Now we have twelve. Once you get past one, it becomes a slippery slope. As I type this, I'm being squeezed out of my chair by two of them... BTW Andy, Thumbs way up for her going with a rescue dog, that's compassion. Animal Control in Palm Beach County is putting down over fifty pets a day because people either abandoned them or just didn't want them anymore. I like animals as much as the next guy but if I were living by myself, I doubt I'd have a pet. However, the way some people treat their animals just infuriates me... |

And as long as we're on the subject:
"The greatness of a nation and its moral progress can be judged by the way its animals are treated." --Ghandi "I care not much for a man's religion whose dog and cat are not the better for it." --Abraham Lincoln "In studying the traits and dispositions of the so-called lower animals, and contrasting them with man's, I find the result humiliating to me." --Mark Twain |

It's amazing to me that the mama dog can keep them all fed.
At least they're all the same type of animal. The real pain is when you have a zoo, like we do. I'd take one but there is no room at the inn. |

I guess we need to start an adoption thread.
