Up early tending to the dogs......I am seeing lightning outside.......if it rains an inch all over in the next couple of days my summer work is done......doing a rain dance as we speak......

thinking about doing a track day more and more......I mean I got the helmut but I don't have the harness belt set up in my car.......don't know if that will work or not....will have to call them.....Bill says it won't hurt the tires that much......I mean going 50 mph around the track won't be to bad on them......right?......

Coming to the end of my seasonal work....I am ready for it to end....last couple of weeks have been long. a little rain mojo down here would not hurt from the Guru.......have a g'day mates........

Full moon phase. Everything is malfunctioning around here. Our home phones aren't ringing. You can dial out but they don't ring for an incoming call. Front gate receiver is acting funny. Have to hit the button two or three times to get it to open. I changed a battery in one of the remotes yesterday and after that it doesn't open the gate (we have 6 remotes). The lights on the remote turn on when you press the button ..... And then the commercial ice machine .... That's gonna be fun. I'll do my part to clean and so on then call the techs in if there's no ice. Since the secretary left I get calls all through the day from Sue. Can I do this, can I do that. I can tell you I'm not a happy camper. My phone rings way more than I care to hear it. Well, even one ring is way more than I care to hear it. Sue is always asking me "Why are you so grumpy? Guess I'm taking after my grandfather. Time to get ready to go for a dental cleaning

Morning guys...Looks a little overcast this morning, but it's cool. Unfortunately, it's not going to stay that way yet today or tomorrow. The cool air is supposed to come in Friday late afternoon.

I'm headed to the shop to work today, not real sure what I'm doing yet. Hoping I can find out about staining the vanity and maybe staining the chest. I know I have some cleaning to do, emptying the chip collector and the trash can.

The kiddos head back to school today....sure glad I don't have to go. Our state legislature has really screwed education up royally. They have reduced funding to all the schools to a point where they can barely function.

Speaking of royals....what about my Royals, maybe, just maybe, making a comeback? They have played well the last couple of weeks.

Hope everyone is having a good day/week... been chasing my tail at both shops last few days. Went from not much work at the graphics shop to more than I know what to do with, then get home, clean up, make dinner, clean up go to bed. Been workin on the 89 Vette at the body shop, took off the old vinyl top. It was a white one, painted black and had a huge hole in it, therefor the condition of the interior. I took out the seats and cleaned the hell out of it. Took dash panels off and removed some wiring an idiot kid had put in for some junk stereo mess, need one more bose speaker for it now. Looks a ton better new white top and all plus paint, wheels, painted calipers, etc. got a text just now from him at the shop he got a visitor that knew the car that backed up my info on where it came from, but he added one detail. Another dude here had installed a ZZ4 crate into it after purchase for the original owner. That just made stuff more interesting.
Marcus, if you're in need of rain, I have plenty to send your way. We are all sick of it around here. Right in the middle of a projected 14-day run of it. Flooding in areas all around us.

Getting lots done in the shop. Just about have the bedside table ready to dry assemble. Came in to grab a bite and now watching US women's volleyball. Last few points of the rubber match to see who goes to Gold medal round. And Serbia just beat our girls......

....no....I need to know how to use the power I have first......then I can get a supercharger.......the Stig knows his chit mon........so that is what I'm a gonna do.......I know the friend I have that did the Hastings track knew the limitations of his car much better and was eating my lunch on the twistys up in South Dakota.....course I had a pup and my wife with me telling me I was going to kill us all.......geez......
