However, if they are, they should move fore/aft and up down with little more than an electric motor whine....

It's fairly mild this morning, mid 50s. Not sure what is going on, but the birds have been going crazy the last couple of days here. Early evening they start to roost in the trees outside the house and they are freaking noisy. Nearly enough to drive you nuts. By bedtime they quiet down, then in the morning, same thing. Just been the last couple of days. OK, Tommy, here's your opening to put clips from Hitchcocks' 'The Birds'.

I finished the nightstands yesterday, with the help of my #2&3 GSs. They got it stained pretty early while I did some other things, then I got them sprayed in the late afternoon.

Weather is supposed to be in the 80s again today, but big changes for Weds and Thursday. Cold front moving through late today bringing the temps down to upper 50s and low 60 for the next two days.

I've got a few things I need to do today. So I better get to them.

Great morning cool so far. Weather man is teasing us with a chance of rain this weekend. We need it badly

Hidey-ho! The forecast called for mostly cloudy, but it is nice and sunny at the moment. I may get in another round of golf today if the rain holds off. I was out treating some trees late yesterday afternoon, and noticed the birds were going nutso here, too.

Have a good one, yawlz!

Howdy! No shortage of stuff for me to bitch about but I will refrain. Up at 06:00, made delivery, came home, had to go back to drop off site to pick up sick worker and bring him back to Homestead. 11:30 AM now ......... Sounds like the perfect time for a nap. Plenty of scheduled disruptions coming up over the next several days.

Later.

STUFFED. DARLING WIFE MADE A BIG POT OF PINTO BEANS, COOKED ALL DAY WITH A HAM BONE, CORNBREAD HOT OUT OF THE OVEN, SLICED ONIONS, THERE ARE BETTER THINGS TO EAT; I JUST CAN'T THINK OF ANY RIGHT NOW.

MY WANDERING BARN CAT (I'VE HAD STRAYS THAT SPENT MORE TIME AT THE BARN THAN HE DOES) HAS DEVELOPED A HABIT OF SUPERVISING WHEN I FEED THE DOGS. HE HAS ALSO DEVELOPED A TASTE FOR ALPO AND WILL GO RIGHT UP AND SNITCH IT FROM UNDER THE OLD SETTERS NOSE. BUDDY THE BOLD, GOOD THING THE DOGS ARE OLD AND TOLERANT.

My mother had a German shepherd, Major, who lived to 21. She also had a cat, Mortimer, who loved to torment Major. He would wait until Major was sleeping, and then smack him across the face and run.

Meanwhile, it was a pleasant evening for golf, as long as you stayed out of the leaves. But I'd give my kingdom for a short game. Atrocious.

Hey guys...never got out to the shop today. Went to look at a job (an hour and a half) and then to computer call (another 2 hours) came home to work on the drawings (another two hours) then the computer call, called back and said a couple things weren't working, so back to find the default printer had changed (she couldn't print), changed the default back and printed her documents. Then down to another computer call and another 45 minutes. It has been a busy, but crappy day, as far as shop work goes.

Good Evening, Gurus.

I had a full day of chores, activities, and dad duties. Relaxing for the evening now and about to hit the sack.

TB, the side stands turned out great.
