MUCH COOLER IN THE NATIONS THIS MORNING, HAD ABOUT A QUARTER INCH OF RAIN LAST NIGHT, LOOKS LIKE IT'S TRYING TO CLEAR OFF NOW.

READ A VERY INTERESTING BOOK ABOUT THE 26TH US CAVALRY. THEY WERE PHILIPPINE SCOUTS WITH AMERICAN OFFICERS; AN OUTSTANDING REGIMENT, THEY MADE THE LAST US HORSE CHARGE IN HISTORY. A GREAT STORY CARELESSLY WRITTEN.

Nice and cool this morning. In the 80s later today.Playing hookie from work tomorrow. Taking My used GMC 2500 Denali in for a free oil change. This is part of the bumper to bumper warranty. I tried to remove the drain plug. It didn't want to budge . Now it is their problem. Love this truck.

Hidey-ho! Crisp here today, we might make it up to 50 if we're lucky. Indeed, I am glad the debates are over as well - nauseating.

Have a good day, Gurus!

Morning guys...been up and at 'em since early. Working on a computer. I'm beginning to hate them. Very chilly this morning 37 and not supposed to get too warm, actually seasonally warm upper 60s, but we have been used to 70s and 80s so will feel cool.

Have a great day guys.

Hey Gurus,

It's gotten cooler in the past day or two. Back to fall weather. I've been enjoying the Vette the past couple of weeks. I will be getting my garage ready for the DDs soon and I'll be parking the Vette at my mom's house.

Hope everyone has a great day!

HAD TO MAKE A LITTLE CHANGE FOR ACCURACY :-)

HAD THE BUMBLEBEE IN YESTERDAY FOR REPLACEMENT OF THE AIRDAM MANGLED BY THE KAMIKAZE TURTLE. ON THE WAY BACK HOME A RED SUV MADE A LEFT TURN ONTO THE HIGHWAY RIGHT IN FRONT OF ME. AS I WAS COMMENTING TO MYSELF ON HIS/HER DIETARY HABITS AND ANCESTRY, HE SAW ME AND STOPPED RIGHT IN THE MIDDLE OF THE OTHER LANE OF TRAFFIC. AND THERE WAS ANOTHER CAR COMING IN THAT LANE. HAVING NO IDEA WHAT EL JERKO(A) WOULD DO NEXT I PUNCHED IT, GOT ON THE SHOULDER AND MOVED OUT OF THE IMPACT AREA SMARTLY. THE COP FOLLOWING THE CAR IN THE OTHER LANE WAGGED HIS FINGER AT ME AND GRINNED. I THOUGHT HE SHOULD HAVE TICKETED THE RED SUV DRIVER FOR DWB (DRIVING WITHOUT BRAIN). I FELT LIKE THE INVISIBLE MAN, BUT IN A COMPETITION YELLOW CAR??

Actually, doc called it trigger finger. Just happens when I tend to over use it. Which is nearly all the time.

Semi cruise related. I met a gentleman named Brian on our Hawaiian cruise on The Legend in September. We chatted occasionally and played poker together on a few nights. He mentioned that on the way home they were stopping off in L.A . for a few days and they had tickets to to be on the set of The Price Is Right game show. Today I just so happened to have the TV on and The Price Is Right was showing. The contestants are spinning to see who can get closest to $1.00 and who do I see with the final spin? Brian. He spun a 95 and got to choose the package he wanted to bid on in the Bonus Round. He bid $29,900 on an Australian Spa package and a 9 person pontoon boat. The value was $30,500 and he won the round with the other contestant underbidding considerably. Way to go Brian. That should more than make up for anything you may have left behind on The Legend. Nice win. Very nice win.
