Yep Taco Tuesday at Taco John's........two tacos for the price of one......back when they had some decent sized taco's.....price has gone up and tortilla size has gone down........
Dogs decided it was time to wake up and get going so I am up and going also......coffee is still brewing and it seems like it takes forever......normal work day around here. Got lots to do before the snow flies...... Have a day of happiness Guru's...... |

Morning guys....I'm up at the 'normal' time. It's dark, and unseasonably warm, 52 already. Got a few things to do today, but hate to get started on anything big as we are headed to KC tomorrow about noonish. Get to watch grandkids while #3 and SIL do the Royal American BBQ. I've got some projects to do while I'm there, so I have to make sure I have all the right tools with me.

ANOTHER NICE DAY, WEATHER-WISE, OTHERWISE I GOT THE ASS LIKE A RUSSIAN BEAR. GOT SERVED THIS MORNING IN ANOTHER ATTEMPT TO MAKE ME PAY BACK TAX ON LAND IN GRAND PRAIRIE TEXAS THAT I NEVER OWNED. I THOUGHT THIS WAS ALL SETTLED IN 2013 BUT THE BLOOD SUCKERS HAVE RISEN FROM THE GRAVE. GUESS WE DIDN'T DRIVE A STAKE THRU IT'S HEART LAST TIME. BARN PURGE WAS SUSPENDED YESTERDAY DUE TO DUMPSTER OVERLOAD. TRASH MAN SHOULD COME TODAY. GOT THE MOWER IN FOR ANNUAL SERVICE. ALWAYS FORWARD! "CROWDED ELEVATORS SMELL DIFFERENT TO MIDGETS." |

Hiya, Gurus! It is NOT Taco Tuesday here - it is homemade pot roast and noodles day. The roast is almost ready, and the disaster that was the kitchen after noodle-making has been cleaned up.

chicken and dumplings Tuesday here - or at least for me. Felt like I've had the flu for the last few days, kinda dizzy today.. not ditzy but dizzy. Already had to straighten BF out on that. Told him dizzy and he comes back with "sorry you're ditsy"... men... great weather around here lately, would give anything to have a beach house. 80 and sunny. Devine.
The loan on the house is 'conditionally approved' they need a few more things - will it ever stop? We sent them a repair list and they've agreed to all of it but some minor thing or two that I would rather had not been in there anyhow. Guess the crazy mess is about to start. Already has at the body shop. He's retiring end of the year and been in the mood to go through stuff to get rid of. Have my bids in on a couple of things. Hope y'all had a great weekend... |

Yet another accident. I was walking through the kitchen with a pair of scissors in my hand and somehow slipped putting a deep cut into a Halloween candy bag on the counter. For safety reasons I thought it best to sample a couple of selections to insure none of the contained candy had been tainted. Fortunately, everything appears to be intact except for the samples that were sacrificed. By the way, the ceramic orchid that I destroyed some months ago has never been missed. But that's another story .......... |

It was taco Monday at my house yesterday. Stopped on the way home from helping BIL and had a late night snack.
Gris - sounds like a real mess. What are the details? Letty - is this the same house you were going to pass on before? Tommy - you performed a community service and may have saved a child's life. In tool news...got some new tools. Surprise. |
