SUNNY AND COLD IN THE NATIONS, 29 ON THE FRONT PORCH WHEN I GOT UP AT 0600. SHOULD BE A REALLY NICE DAY, 60 THE PREDICTED HIGH.

SORRY ABOUT YOUR DOG STEVE. YOU KNOW IT'S FOR THE BEST, BUT PUTTING DOWN AN OLD FRIEND IS REALLY TOUGH DUTY.

Chilly here in SoFlo. I believe it dipped down into the mid 60's. As the weatherman called it, a Florida Fall. Coming into my favorite seasons in Florida. Should be tolerable most days between now and May except for those occasional nasty frost warnings. Today I think I'm gonna go wash the carport and the house. Could stretch into a 2 day job. My next delivery on Tuesday with occasional ... Ring .... Rings in between.

Sorry for your loss, Steve. Just remember all the great times.
It was cold the past couple of mornings, 16º and 14º. Better this morning at 19º.

Morning guys...another cold night, not as cold as the night before, but cold none the less. We slept in until 8:40.

We have a Knights of Columbus meeting this afternoon, but have a chance to win some money. We are concluding a fund raiser which includes a ca$h drawing!

I have some things to do in the shop, but may just wait. Got the car back running that #1Gs was driving when he got the "new" one. The shifter got to the point where it wouldn't shift out of park (common problem, I guess). Anyway #2GS is going to use it to drive to school, so we had to make it drive-able. So this afternoon we are going to start cleaning it up for him.

Howdy! Slept in a bit, now it's watching football on the couch time. Practice makes perfect. Meanwhile, I think I'm over the hump with this cold thing, just in time to go back to work tomorrow. Looking forward to a short week.

Enjoy your day, Gurus!

Good Afternoon CGs!

We were out late at a wedding last night. It was a very nice time. BIL stood up and his fiance was the maid of honor. We know the kids getting married pretty well, happy for them. I'm finally moving around today. Slept in pretty late and then I was just groggy and tired. I did get the floors mopped and picked up the house a bit. Wife wants me to cut the grass, so I guess I'm cutting the grass.

Tommy, how is your sister doing?

Steve, sorry to hear about the dog.

Hope everyone has a great day!

Matthew

I did enjoy it, thanks. I like bluegrass and steel guitar. Allison Krauss is pretty impressive.

From Friday

"Update
Sis is still hanging on by a thread. The doctors now are refusing any further surgical procedures. She is on a ventilator and feeding tube. All have said she should go to hospice but her husband is refusing to accept that she has little if any chance of recovery. She is unconscious now. The other day she spoke with my sister and mother at length. They listened to some comforting religious music together and prayed."

Still with us.
