CLOUDY AND COLD IN THE NATIONS THIS MORNING, THE CHEROKEES WONDER IF YESTERDAY'S SUNSHINE WAS JUST THEIR IMAGINATION.

GOT A FEW ERRANDS TO RUN TODAY, A TRIP TO WALLY WORLD IN TAHLEQUAH AND SOME BOOKS TO ORDER.

ONLY THREE MORE DAYS OF OBAMA.

AND SOME IMPORTANT MEDICAL INFORMATION:

There is a medical distinction between Guts and Balls.

Here's the official distinction; straight from the British Medical Journal: Volume 323; page 295.

GUTS - Is arriving home late, after a night out with the lads, being met by your wife with a broom, and having the guts to ask: Are you still cleaning, or are you flying somewhere?

BALLS - Is coming home late after a night out with the lads, smelling of perfume and beer, lipstick on your collar, slapping your wife on the butt and having the balls to say: "You're next, Chubby"

I trust this clears up any confusion. However, medically speaking, there is no difference in the outcome; both are fatal.

Morning guys.....chilly here this morning, but really pretty nice. I don't think we ever got down to below freezing, so the melt continues.

Sitting here filling out the CCL application. Neighbor a couple houses down and myself are going to take the class on the 28th.

Stay warm and safe guys....

Greetings! Back to the grindstone. We got a nice coating of ice last night, but then early this morning we got some sticky snow, so that made traction tolerable. Tomorrow it'll be about 50 degrees warmer than it was last week. If you don't like the weather here, just wait a few days. Meanwhile, I sold my nice Dewalt tile saw to my BIL yesterday - he'll get more use out of it than me (he is a handyman/contractor), and I know where it is if I need to borrow it someday.

Have a good day, all!

Eyelid is still swelled. I hate that kinds stuff but then , who likes it? Dropped off the Suburban for a little tweaking at the dealership. Little stuff I want fixed. I asked the service advisor if he could spray it down with New Car smell. He said he didn't have any as opposed to Dirty Diaper, Soured Milk or Oldy But Moldy scents. lol
One week vacation starts Saturday. Have to start pulling the stuff we need for that all together. Pretty much a week of eating, sleeping, fishing and riding around the Keys. Still, that's relaxing.

Yes, back to the grindstone. Actually I think I never left it. Have the for sale signs up at the body shop, and now the task of paring down crap he's collected over the years. Had a gal that used to help him, shes' turned into a methhead and has a brood of more living at her house. Well, knowing tweakers, they are looking for crap to do and she's a redneck and likes junk and is a hoarder. Win-win. Got rid of 6 truck loads and four trailer loads of what we considered junk, one more she needs to come get. She thinks she got a gold mine, we think - well you know how the song goes...
My job has been emptying files, listing junk for sale and organizing some of it, trying to help keep his mind straight. He's also working on revamp plans for a house that's on the acreage that his son owns in Columbia, MO where they plan to move in a year. All during me still unpacking my own boxes. Down to the last dozen or so for the house, the shop is free of all the 'house' stuff so he can get organized out there. Pool no longer looks like a catfish pond, it's coming along.
I would love to be the one sitting on a beach like istter... envious for sure especially with the goofy weather we've had.

Good Afternoon CGs!

More rain here. We had some really strong thunderstorms last night. But it's not snow, so no complaints here.

I sanded and put the last (hopefully) skim coat on the new wall. Primer tomorrow???

RR#2 is home sick today with strep throat. The antibiotics are already working, though, and he seems to be OK. Countdown in 3....2....1.... until his sister gets it. Oh well.

Both kids have swim classes tonight, I know they are looking forward to that.

Hope everyone has a great day!
