Sue and I play scratch off lottery tickets on occasion. Sometimes we come out ahead. Sometimes we slide behind. We turned in our winning tickets and replaced them with more tickets. That's usually what we do. Last night I was scratching a ticket and noticed it was going to be a good one. It had a bunch of like numbers and a symbol that indicated it was an automatic $200 winner. I continued to scratch the remainder of the numbers and and whoo-hoo! 8 $100 numbers and the $200 automatic winner for a nice $1000 pre-cruise gambling coffer boost. I always tell Sue, keep playing and one day we're gonna hit a big one. (This one is NOT a big one.) I consider a big one 25,50 or 100k. Wouldn't mind picking up a mill or more on a lotto draw or scratch off either. Somebody has to win. Would be nice one day if it was us.

Howdy! The sun is shining for the time being, but that will likely change. I talked to my niece last night - her siding and some windows were trashed by the storm, and her neighbor had a tree on top of their house. Ick.

I was hoping to win the $447 million lotto, but nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo. Bummer, I was going to buy you all new C7's ;)

Have a good day, yawlz!

Sue went to the regional Florida Lottery office because you have to go there to collect anything more than $600. Of course they issued a document that has to be filed with the annual income taxes. While she was there she encountered three other ticket winners. One for 32k , one for 40k and one for 250k. Nice. The 40k guy had purchased some scratch offs at that location, scratched them off and one of his lucky pics held a winner. Sue said to me, "Well at least we know people are winning something.".

Hey guys....I got started early this morning and didn't even check in here first. Sorry, I always like to start here, but I was concerned about the heat. It was 70 when I got up and rapidly went up to high 90s before noon. I was trying to add a little 'shelter' for my chip collector under the new awning. Pictures to come. I didn't stop until after noon and I had it done. It was a mistake, the heat started to get to me. I sat inside and ate a little lunch and recovered. While doing the shelter, I also cut a board for a fireplace mantle with a mountain scene on the CNC.

This afternoon I visited my chiropractor as I got a kink in my back and just kept aggravating it. Oh the hospital guys came and took the counter tops I made last week. This afternoon they came back with a small cabinet they wanted me to use the scraps of Formica to cover the side, bottom and front, so I got that done too.

Congrats Tommy. The wife thought she won the power ball till she looked at her ticket. Oh well we'll try again. Nice and cool here temps were in the low 70's today.

Seems like Tee is more busier in retirement than when he was working.

Later gang.
