We have had nice rains the last two days and it is supposed to continue through tomorrow. Highs today of the upper 70s, but humid as heck.

I have things to do in the shop, but still waiting on materials for the kitchen remodel project. So I'll work on Marcuss' stuff a bit, drawer slides and staining some trim.

I washed the Corvette in the rain yesterday as it was pretty dirty from the weekend jaunt.

I hope that you guys have a great day.

The new guy (1 month) resigned. Said he found a job that was better fitting to his talents. I'm sure it involves less bending and lifting out in temperate Florida sun and rain.

ANOTHER BEAUTIFUL MORNING ON THE LAST OF JULY. SUNNY AND 68 DEGREES, HIGH IN THE MID 80'S PREDICTED. WHOO WHOO!

NOTHING ON THE AGENDA BUT AUTO ROTATION AND A FEW ERRANDS. I COULD MOW AND CLEAN UP THE ARGO IF I WERE TO FEEL AMBITIOUS---

THIS JUST IN FROM CLOUD CUCKOO LAND: SOME JERK HAS MARRIED HIS LAPTOP AND IS SUING A BAKERY FOR NOT MAKING HIM A WEDDING CAKE :-) A PERFECT COMMENTARY ON THE SILLINESS OF LIBERAL JURISPRUDENCE.

IT MAY BE AGE RELATED, BUT I THINK THE AVERAGE IQ HAS GONE DOWN DURING MY LIFETIME. THERE SEEM TO BE MORE STUPID/SILLY PEOPLE THAN EVER BEFORE. DOES A STEADY DIET OF TELEVISION REALLY CAUSE BRAIN DAMAGE???

Hidey-ho! I was planning to post this morning, but it was one thing after another after another, with delightful meetings in between. I got the Vette home just in time to dodge some raindrops, looks like.

Hope y'all had a productive day!

RIP, Sam Shepard. I sent a text to my wife telling her that he had passed and reminding her of how he captured the essence of Chuck Yeager in The Right Stuff. Then, I sent her the picture below of the real one with the movie version.

Her response: "Wow. The 'tude."

I respond: "Like your husband on the salt flats ..."

She: "Yup"

Back to the grind today. Sure was hard getting up to an alarm. Slept till almost 10 two days in a row, sure did need that. I would have given anything to have woke up to a rainy day and it be Saturday and have been able to laid in bed and slept all day long. I need it. Still. Not a bad day tho, cleaned old parts up at the shop, painted satin black for that old truck, headed to town for a couple of small things for it, getting the dash finished up. Came home and finished the book layout for the paper. Hope everyone had a good weekend.

Letty, how much does it cost for a simple style wrap for a mid size car? Guestimate only. I notice it's getting more popular over a repaint.

Good Evening CGs,

We've had some hot weather the last few days. Not snow so I'm not complaining.

Tinkering with the Vette here and there but interior work and not driving it. I need to do that.

Sounds like everyone else is keeping busy, as well.

Hope everyone had a great day!
