Sun is shining this morning and it's supposed to make it into the low 60s. We had .40 rain last evening and night. Again, not a drought buster, but we'll take it. Yesterday, started out mid 40s and just continued to drop all day. Pretty miserable for me being outside working on those counter tops. Client was supposed to bring the sink by today, but texted me last evening saying noon Thursday. Well, that will make me work my arse off to get it done, but I'll do it.

Tonight Rosie and I are headed to Dodge City, to the casino for a concert. "Rain" a Beatles tribute band. Supposed to be one of the best. To my understanding they are performing the entire 'Sargent Pepper' album among other. We've heard nothing but great things.......report tomorrow.

Mojo to the Mrs, Mike, hoping for the best.

I hope everyone here has a great day

CLOUDY AND COOL IN THE NATIONS, THE CHEROKEES ARE WAITING FOR THE RAIN.

NOTHING IN PARTICULAR ON THE AGENDA TODAY, MAY GO PRICE SOME AUTO DETAILING. THE BENDING AND REACHING INVOLVED IN CAR CARE IS GETTING MORE DIFFICULT FOR ME BUT I LIKE TO KEEP THEM LOOKING PRESENTABLE. MAYBE I CAN HIRE IT OUT.

BEST WISHES FOR MRS. MIKE!

Howdy! I saw someone with their buzz being harshed this morning - a nice yellow C6 convertible was pulled over on the side of the freeway, and was having what I'm sure was a friendly chat with a highway patrol. But it is a nice, sunny day - we've had it pretty good this week, and we deserve it.

We saw Rain perform a few years back, and they were very good. I think they'll be here at a casino on Friday.

Have a good day, all!

I’ve been out in the shop cutting some car show award plaques. I cut the back side with my logo and name, then cut one face side, sent it to the head honcho to get final approval. Heard back during lunch, so I’ve been cutting the rest of them this afternoon. Takes 10 minutes per plaque to cut the face....17 to cut total 3 hours, 5 left to do.

Later this year I will have been married 41 years. 34 of them to Sue.

Sue went to her monthly doctors appointment this morning. The doctor is a pain management physician but he use to be a neurologist. He sent Sue for an x-ray for the left side of her head. The x-ray shows a large black mass just below the skull. I have learned not to get to charged up until all the information is in. Another chapter in an ongoing medical saga begins. The plate in her head needs to be secured better as well so I see surgery in her future. Sue is a trooper so we shall see what we will see.

Just got back from a 7 hour day at the nursery. The progress on the interior of the new office shed continues.

Pics from South Carolina. These are from Greenville's Park on the Reedy. I love that park.

Cool scenery at that park, Tommy. And much mojo to Sue, she is a tough cookie.

Sweet-lookin' plaques there, Tom!

Meanwhile:

A woman ran a red traffic light and crashed into a man's car. Both of their cars are demolished but amazingly neither of them was hurt. After they crawled out of their cars, the woman said, "Wow, just look at our cars! There's nothing left, but fortunately we are unhurt. This must be a sign from God that we should meet and be friends and live together in peace for the rest of our days."

The man replied, "I agree with you completely. This must be a sign from God!"

The woman continued, "And look at this, here's another miracle. My car is completely demolished, but my bottle of 75 year old scotch didn't break. Surely God meant for us to drink this vintage delicacy and celebrate our good fortune." Then she handed the bottle to the man.

The man nodded his head in agreement, opened it, drank half the bottle and then handed it back to the woman. The woman took the bottle, immediately put the cap back on, and handed it back to the man.

The man asks, "Aren't you having any?"

She replies, "Nah. I think I'll just wait for the police."

Adam ate the apple, too! Men never learn.
