Well howdy folks!
I’ve been released from exile! I was having trouble getting results of my test and call the EHS/safety gal at work. She sent me to a distant county where I could get a quick test. Sure enough, I got my results as I was cruising home.
I’m a NEGATIVE guy! So I took the copy of my printout with me, and enjoyed another action packed evening of die repair. So now I’m eligible for holiday pay.

I see you’ve all been busy since my last drop in.
Tommy, I don’t know how you can do it. If I hit that payout I’d probably quit while ahead. Usually I feel pretty lucky if I just get the money back on a bet like Letty did.

T, I tried to pay a guy well once. We have radiant heat thru the floor here, a once had a blackout during a bad winter storm. A friend set me up with his electrician buddy who came on a Sunday, in a storm, to help. He wired in an outlet on the boiler so I could run it off the generator, saving my foundation from cracking and breaking up the water lines within. I handed him a check for $125 and he refused it as too much. I told him he’d saved my butt and my foundation along with the expense of going to a furnace after all the damage. He still refused so I asked him to name his price. Finally I was able to give him $75. But make no mistake, he saved my azz.

And Marc, I agree about the legalized casinos. I don’t care much for them either. Ohio has them now, but one of the early attempts to get them voted in was for one guy to have the state’s license, and it was worded in the whole thing that if an Indian casino ever came in, he’d no longer owe state taxes. So by that, you know he’s going to do a back door bankroll of an Indian casino probably before his own gets built.

I could go on, but this is already waayy too long, so I’ll just say,
Have a great one my friends!

We like to gamble. Quitting while you are ahead is not an option. We play by hours. Go for a certain time with a certain amount. Still ahead for the year. Over $1000 in the play kitty. That's enough for a couple of trips without any wins. We usually win some. Plus they give us gifts, free play and bonus play. This next time we go we start with over $100 of their money. Incentive.

Thank you John. And thanks to the rest of you guys as well.
I’m pretty sure there’s something wrong with me though. When I was quarantined, all I wanted to do was get back to work. But yesterday while driving in, I didn’t want to go. I’m pretty sure I need a good bartender to discuss this with.

Good Afternoon CGs!

Bob, glad you're back on your feet.

Everything was going well until yesterday. Wife was having chest pains and couldn't fully breathe. The internet is no help, according to what you read that's impending doom. So a trip to the emergency clinic was in order. Blood test revealed a higher level than normal of some enzyme indicating a blood clot. Luckily the CT scan was negative for a blood clot and negative for pneumonia. Most likely related to inflammation in the tissue. So she was sent home with a prescription for steroids and told to rest with no physical activity. Coronavirus isn't scary until it's scary.

Hope everyone has a great day!

Hey guys...up and around in the shop to finish up the countertops. GS #2 and 3 along with a neighbor and Rosie helped out moving the top out in the little breeze we were having (40 to 50mph with gusts to 70), The clients were tickled pink with the countertops. I left a piece as a backsplash for them to decide if they wanted that. Then Rosie, the GSs and I headed over to the 'city' as Rosie promised them to eat at Buffalo Wild Wings. On the north side of the 'city' are two overpasses, and at the top of the first one a semi was laying over on it's side, victim of one of those 70mph gusts....lucky for him it was just before the "gap" over the rairoad tracks. On the way home a crane was there and had the truck back on it's wheels.

On the way home, I got a call from the countertops guy, his wife loved the backsplash and wants them put in...I told him I probably would not get to it until after Christmas, "No problem". Well, I went back out to the shop and thought, I know the dimensions, I may as well go ahead and do them...... Rosie came out and noticed I had them done and said "We may as well take them out and install them." Yup, I finished them up.

I think I'm done doing stuff for the year...well, stuff for pay. I might need to do something for myself.....

Glad to hear you're so negative Bob. If only that were True Gris... Matt, I hope you and yours recover quickly. Tommy, when we go we never win...so we don't go very often.
