I found this one close to me while looking around. What do you think it is worth?

Wow! 151 miles on the clock.....that is really something.

The inside is factory fresh.

I am not sure what it would be worth. C4s in general...low

But 151 miles on anything that is nearing 20 years old has to be worth something.

At a dealership? $25- $30k.

On a Corvette forum.... $7k.

I bet they want more than that, if it's only got 151 miles.

Ah, I'd give a little more than that. But your right, lots of cheap asses on the forums.

I had to call them on it. They are asking $39k for it. KBB gives it a value of $25k and NADA is much lower as they don't ask for the mileage on a car that old.

They have 2 of these in their showroom. One with the 151 miles and another with 168 miles. I ran across 2 more just like them at a Ford dealership in Knoxville. All 4 of them are under 1k miles on them. Strange there would be that many in this area crop up all at once.

Wish I could trade with them for about an 8k - 10k difference. I would be tempted then, but I can tell from their asking price we would be way off.

Taking in consideration of the original selling price and the asking price in 2008 dollars, that's like picking up a new ZR1 at half price. Not that I'd buy it.

I'd be afraid of breaking it the first time I drove it. 151 miles in 18 years? I'm sure there are some seals, belts, etc, that are bad from sitting.

I was gonna say 30-35K realistically, at that mileage, but I wouldn't pay that much for it.

With average to higher mileage, 15-20K.

There is no way I would pay that kind of price. That car was supposed to be a real collectors item, however it did not work out as planned. One did go for 52k at auction, but I don't know when that auction was held.

I don't have the kind of money to buy it and let it sit for several more years. That dealership is a pain in the ass to deal with anyway. You would think you were walking into a dealership selling 250k cars. I tried to deal with them twice several years ago and just walked out.

There have been several uber-low-mileage ZR1s at auction of late. Many people pickled them like this.

There are a shit load of these out there. I swear, there must be 8-10 a month in Sports Car Market. It's insane.

They are selling for upwards of $60k, but that is for later 405hp versions. The 90, because there were so many made that year, are going for less. Most are bidding into the upper $30k to low $40k range.

I will have to check my last Corvette Market mag to get more accurate numbers... I am going by memory... but for the most part the $39k asking is about where they are sitting at auction.

If I was interested, I would offer them about $33k or so and see what they say.

Also, as mentioned above, there will be a ton of seals (and other parts) that will need replacement.

Really depends how it was stored. The thing should be fired up and warmed up every few months. The drivetrain isn't that big a deal to let sit.

They would want too big a difference for my 88 with 41k on it. I think I will stick with what I have. I can't beat it for the price I paid for it.

I remember looking at the ZR1s new at the dealership. The car was awesome for its time. Guys were even paying huge dealer markups, just like when the Viper first came out. Hard to justify buying one now considering a used C5 Z06 is a better bang for the buck. That being said, a mint ZR1 would be valuable to a collector.

color matters - 35-45k for the right buyer

as for concerns of them being stored well - most of them were in private collections with climate controlled environments

I'll sell you my 90 with 36k on it white/grey for 30,000 for 33,000 Ill include a trailer

That's a nice looking car you have. I found one with 14k for 28k but am not really all that interested. I was more curious about what they were worth. 39k must be reasonable then. My 88 with 41k is fine for me and it is paid for.
