Okay here is the deal, unfortunately we have two cats and yes you guessed it, they like to lounge on my vette. I don't mind too much except for the paw prints and the body oil they leave behind. I have a car cover which is used most of the time, however this time of the year with the pollen swirling around when I take the cover off, no paw prints but lots of pollen....

So then the question, what can I use daily to remove the paw prints left by the cats if I opt not to cover the car daily?

I'm leaning toward a lightly damp microfiber towel.

Yes, dampened with some spot detailing spray. We've got a couple of cats that like to hang out in the garage lounging on the Vette and that's what works for me...

Smith & Wesson works for me, its alot easier to justify repainting the car if it has bullet holes instead of just scratches.

But it would be easier in the short term if you just do what the others have allready said.

I have a duster and they do work well, the problem with the cats is that their paws leave a slight oil residue which the duster will not remove....

Shooting the cats is not an option since they are the family cats....lol I have thought of other things though...LOL

Its really hard to remove anything off the paint without introducing swirls and micro-marring. I find that most people look at paint and as long as it shines they don't see 90% of the imprefections. But they drive me NUTS!

I would say so long as you don't have any dust or pollen on the car, the oils could be removed with a quality microfiber towel (I like Pakshaw), and a good quality detailer like Megs Final Finish, or Danase.

Anything else, the car would need to be washed properly,
