Keep in mind, it took GM almost 20 years to build another engine like they built the LT5. Everything basically done by hand, with both the LT5 and LS7.

Sweet! I wish I had done more homework on the LT5 before I bought - I shied away from them, thinking they'd be much more trouble. If I had been armed with better info, I might have tried to find one.

And then the LT1 intake and reverse cooling ideas were stolen from others outside of GM.
