I was driving my Vette, and a new Camry passed me. I hear they have like, 300hp.

Would a 160 T-stat help?

Well, that and...

1) An air foil +50HP
2) Tornado Air Turbine +10HP plus 35mpg
3) Electric Turbo $19.95 50% increase in power
4) "Type R" stickers +20HP/per sticker
5) Double wing spoiler +30HP and added downforce. Might as well add one to the front bumper too. It can't hurt and it looks cool as hell!!

I don't see how you guys get enjoyment out of the stuff posted in this thread. Yea its fun to pick, yes the people that whine about the wave and stuff are....unique....but to a lurker it makes us look like stuck up snobs.

Second, the majority of ricers are lame because of their attitude. No I don't like the mufflers they use but still...I have friends that have those on their cars and don't bitch and whine to them about it. If you put a spoiler on a corvette, it's wrong....body kit is wrong...anything other than stock is wrong to some people.

When you think about it, maybe some of the ricers " the nice ones", are car guys and can't afford anything better. True, some of them spend thousands of dollars on a civic...but if we all drove the same cars, that would be boring. Alot of the ricers here are assholes but thats because they are jealous of muscle cars. A guy in my science class commented that:

Mustangs are pusstangs, Camaro SS are Camaro Super Slow, corvette is a borevette. He also noted that my car had a SMALL 350 in it when his honda made only 98 horsepower. When I called him out on it, the class busted out laughing because his car doesn't make triple digit horsepower stock.

It was his attitude that brought him down. I am sure some people thought I was poking fun of his honda rather than him directly....Just something to think about for the guest/new members here.

You know what chapps my ass? Fart cans. I ride on my bike (which is truly loud with my Sato exhaust and V-Twin) and I think I hear another bike and low and behold its a ricer...run down, tinted windows..the usual. Its really funny when they rev up at a light, I just let them go though I could litterly pull away from them on one wheel. Though I never race its fun to get "challenges"

Considering he's got the same size pistons as a ZX-14, and the same fart cans, it doesn't surprise me.

They are stupid enough to try racing you?

Anyone know if 22" chrome rims with spinners will fit on a C4? How will it look?

I love Zaino. Do you mix it with tonic/club or just ice?
