Good morning CGs!

Sorry, I'm a little late with chat today! I worked an hour later than usual and I had a few errands, but I'm here. Better late than never, right?

TGIF, huh? I bet everyone's ready for the work day to be over. Any big plans for the weekend? I'm working, so it's a moot point to me. But the weather is supposed to be warm, aside from a little rain tonight.

I've gotta cut this short, but hope everyone has a great day.

Matthew

MOVIE QUOTE TRIVIA OF THE DAY: (no cheating!!! - ie yahoo, google, etc)

"Just directa your feetsa to Daddy Green's Pizza!"

Another nice day here in the Nation's Capitol.
I'd love to be out on the water today, but I'm here at work... at least just for another few hours that is.

Have a great weekend, chat some more later

No bites on the movie quote? Ok, here's a hint: it's an 80's "cult classic" type movie, and the main character is "Bruce Leroy".

Good luck!

The last couple of weeks at work have been really fun. I've been working on a very nice '64 Ranchero with 62K original miles on it. I'm going all over it and doing any needed repairs and maintenance to get it ready to compete in time-distance events for vintage cars. It's owner has competed in The Great American Race for vintage cars and also owns a '39 Pontiac that he drives in such events. The Ranchero is for his wife to compete with.
I love working on this old stuff with carte blanche to make it "right." He seems very pleased with all I've done so far. Hopefully he'll bring that 1939 "Tin Indian" to me to massage next.

Excuse me, but lately I think you've been having a little too much fun, not to mention, making some coin on the deal.

Nothing much going on here. Finally gassed up the Z and took it out for a few hours tonight. Felt good to row some gears and see some classic iron at a local GTG.

Haha! BMW wins! BTW, it's a great movie if you like cheesy 80s flicks. I love it.

Notorious - sounds like you've been having a lot of fun lately!

That's it for me.

Dang, I actually saw that POS movie at the theater! I think I was a freshmen or sophomore in HS at the time. I was out of state with my school band.

This one time... At band camp...

We were at a stage band competition. I guess it was like Jazz music. Anyway, we had the choice to see Desperately Seeking Susan (Madonna), or this movie. We chose martial arts over Madonna's breasts. Stupid move, in hindsight...

If my son had been around at the time, I'm sure he would have convinced me to watch Madonna's brea... I mean, Desperately Seeking Susan.

But it was a fun movie.
