Good morning CGs!

How is the day so far? I have to tell ya, although it's officially fall already, I could deal with this warm weather all winter long. Temps will be around 80 today and through the weekend. Not too shabby.

Gotta call the financial planner today and set up an appointment. Talked to him yesterday about changing over some stuff into an IRA and some life insurance. Fun stuff. What do you guys have as far as life insurance, etc? Lemme know.

Hope everyone has a great day!

Matthew

HOT CHICK FRIDAY:

Must be something about those C6's, I'm tellin ya!

More Babes!!! I love Fridays

I'm thankfull its the end of the week, but I got to come to work in the morning and make up time for leaving early yesterday. My buddy with the broken alternator in his Honda didn't make it to work this morning... that don't look good for his car.

I's still researching and trying to do a quick study on PCM and tuning. Although I don't really plan on doing any tuning yet, just scanning and looking.. HA HA LOL

Have a good day!

Well, Cuisinartvette and I swapped the 1 5/8" mid-length headers on the 62 last Sunday for a pair of Hooker 1 3/4" Super Comps. I need to get off my can and re-install the plugs and wires, get the thing off the stands. Hope I make it to the muffler shop before Johnny Law stops me...

Good morning gurus!

Sitting here at the house, waiting for the appraiser. The house is cleaner than it's been for a long time.

I washed my wallet this morning. It had a freelance check in it for $600 that I was going to cash this morning..

Hopefully my day gets better from here.

Have a super day y'all!

Appraisal is done. Turns out the appraiser had a '59 Vette in high school, so he was impressed when he peeked in the garage.

Here's hoping we get a favorable valuation on the property.

I wish you luck on the appraisal. Here the appraiser just sits in front of the house for ten minutes and looks it over, looks at the comps, snaps a few digital pics and leaves. Then he appraises it at the same value of the sale price of the house.

When I bought my house, the appraiser I that re-appraised the house, simply appraised it at the exact same dollar amount the seller and I agreed upon when negotiating the selling price of the house.

Yeah you have to be careful with who you get appraising your home. We had a few come over that were actually pretty good.

For my truck I paid a guy $275 to spend 30 minutes b.s.ing with me, 2 minutes looking at my truck, and taking 3 photos, spent probably 15 minutes online to find 3 comparables, 2 of which weren't even close.

But I paid him because he was certified and the insurance required that.

Our house is still being remodeled. One bathroom has nothing in it but walls. Another one has the floor and interior walls ripped out and reinsulating it this weekend and throwing up some sheetrock. My paernts do most of the work and I occassionally help. Kitchens done. Need the driveway redone...bathrooms are close....living room, Den, dining room are done....Bedrooms need to be primed and painted and theyw ill be done. Pressure wash the house and it will be set....Going to sell it and move out in the country within the next year or two....It always varies depending on my fathers job status....Suits me fine to live away from all the fools in the city. Lately it's been very hectic. Streets block and state patromens directing traffic.

Our jeep was found, abandoned, and towed a few miles down the road. To get it out of the impound cost $1000.00 dollars. My father told the impound to take the car and don't call again. He said he is not going to pay that much to tow it, then get the motor torn down to replace a head gasket. Insurance will not help since it was towed....They said they will repair the window that was busted but nothing more. Going to get a economy car next since gas prices are bad. Thats about it this way. :-)

I'm still ticked off about this damn pool pump. I took it apart and regreased the bearing, but now when I reassemble it the "high" setting isn't working properly. I know I am reassembling the switch improperly, but I can't figure it out. I guess I have to take it to the motor shop I bought it from last year. They are an old school place, been there forever. The woman who works the front desk is the owner's daughter and been working there over 30 years. That's my kind of business. I'd rather pay them 20 bucks to fix it than blow up my garage. Just have to wait for my days off.
