Good Morning CGs!

Well, happy Saturday. I'll be off to work in a few so nothing fun for me this weekend. Weather is extremely windy. I don't know how it's gonna be today, but it doesn't look promising.

Well, I'm feeling about 100 times better than yesterday. I came home after work with probably the worst migraine I've ever had in my life. Nothing helped. Finally I took about a 40 minute shower and that seemed to relieve the stress. Got a good night's sleep last night and I'm a new man today.

So what is everyone fixing (or breaking?) today?

morning gurus. matt hope you get to feeling better. a buddy and myself are off to mark twain lake to fishing. 1st time out with the boat. hope everything works ok. then when i get home my son will have sone bbq going and some other good scarf to eat.

Crash, any chance you'll make it to Columbia for the Hooters show today? It's a big deal, and it looks like we'll have 70 and sunny weather. Lots of hot cars, bikini carwash, food and drink, prizes, charity event...please drive out for it.

Andy, with the new rules and all, will I be able to post a thread with pics from today's bikini carwash?

I'll be heading out there in about an hour.

I slept in royally, now have a bunch of yardwork chores in front of me, and hope to have some time left to make some progress on the car. That engine isn't gonna take itself out :-P

Going on a cruise today.

160 cars registered so far, all types, exotics, vettes, mustangs, and probably Mr. Dork with his 1970 4 door BMW 4 banger-that-can't-keep-up.

I'll take some pix and post them later tonight or tomorrow.

Pics of Mr. Dork and car are a must.

My wife works all weekend, so I won't get much help. But I'll be sure and leave some for her to do while I'm getting my ass in and right back out of North Dakota.

Good Morning everyone... ok , I'm late again.

I hope you guys all have some great Mother's day plans going on.

the wife has me lined up to be pretty busy this weekend.
However, last night a buddy came over here and helped me get started laying out the stripes on my car.
We got the hood and the roof panel finished last night. Now I have to finish the halo and the rear deck, gas lid etc.

I'll post photos when complete.

Good afternoon gurus. The truck died on me today. Damn batteries went south. Diesel truck. New batteries were $389 and new positive cable another $129. The cable ends were corroded and cracked. Seeing how I'm leaving in couple of weeks for a new job I don't need to be stranded on the road on my there. With some luck the cable will last another ten yrs and hopefully the batteries too.

Well, I had hoped to be done with my chores in a couple hours, but it took 8 - either there was more to do than I figured, or I'm slow. Now I'm beat, doubtful if I'll get anything done on the car tonight.

I'm waaaaaaay late today. Had a good night last night and slept in a bit this morning. Then went out to the shop to finish up the wife's mothers day present. I'll try to post up some pictures of it later. Once I got that done she wanted to go to the "city" to do some shopping. Picked up the materials and built her a "raised" bed for the tomatoes and peppers. Went to church and then over to a students graduation party. Then home to "primp" the Vette a bit. Programmed two new remotes for it and polished up a few spots of swirls. Tomorrow if the weather is good I plan to take it out and shoot some pictures of it. Now I think I'll try to convince the wife it's time to go to bed.......
