Good Morning CGs!

I got a little sidetracked here and almost missed my chat post!

So how was everyone's weekend so far? I've gotta work today, but then I start my weekend tomorrow. Woohoo. I'm ready.

We're going out to dinner tonight. Me, wifey, BIL, and rugrat. Not sure where we are going yet, I won't know that til I get home. Some little restaurant, nothing fancy.

Hopefully I can get the rest of the pool chemicals I need this week and get ready to swim. Water is still a little cold (was 64* yesterday) so my wife won't go, but I'll jump in at 68* (she thinks I'm nuts). Oh well - welcome to summer!

Hope everyone has a great day!

Matthew

Gm gurus. Having a nice weekend so far. Today I need to get some laundry done. Then one of my new coworkers has invited me over for lunch. I get to start work tomorrow. Not much is going to happen because it's the new employee orientation.

Later all.
Have a nice guru day.

Good Morning Gurus!

Making friends already, Mike? Cool!

Another day of nothing much for me. My back gives me trouble every now and then. Been an uncomfortable couple days. A fair amount of work is coming up, so I'll rest while I can.

Enjoy your day!

I know what you mean. All you need to do is lose some weight and start doing your back exercises.

You projecting again, Tommy?

It's true though. I haven't been doing my workout for about the last three months. I weighed myself today for the first time since I stopped. I was actually down two pounds from my last weigh in, so at least I'm not packing it on. But I feel ten pounds heavier.

I'm back on the exercise bike starting Monday.

Got up and around this morning, been to church already. I'm looking at the 6 + hour drive back home, so I'm resting up for that.

Scales? Never step on them, I don't want to know the bad news.... Not usually my back that gives me trouble, but my knees. They've been pretty good here recently, but that could change overnight.

I have a little work left to do on the in-laws cabinets next week, and I hope that I can get them installed next weekend. I bet this week goes by fast.

Howdy! I slept in and am paying for it with a headache - ugh! Hopefully it'll be gone soon.

I had a fairly productive day yesterday. I scrubbed down the undercarriage and engine compartment, cleaned up most of the peripherals (alternator, accessory bracket, water pump, starter, etc.), buffed the headers, and made my new motor mount covers. It should be about as clean as it's ever been since it left the factory. Maybe I'll repaint the mufflers today. Now if I only had an engine.

Chris...I said I know what you mean because I share your back problem and I have the classic belly to go with it. Strain causes pain. I stretch out every morning. Loose muscles don't ache as much.

Good morning - Ha! I can actually say that today, didn't sleep till noon. But I DID however check the house over before I sat down here to make sure there wasn't another snake lurking under my coffee table. That still creeps me out. Another beautiful day out today, need to get some housework done, mow the lawn, then possibly take another drive to enjoy the weather.
Hope everyone has a good afternoon!

Good morning, Gurus!

We've got another bizarre overcast drizzly day here, today. Most strange weather.

I was hoping to sleep in, but the cat had other ideas. She did let me rest til about 8:30, but then she needed her breakfast.

Yeah, that's what I meant by "projecting". It is true that stretching helps. I had been doing yoga a bit in the mornings. It really helped. I need to stretch my "venerates" more.

My project today was the Jeep... specifically, a rust problem on the right floor.

Just inside the right front door, under the rocker panel, was a huge rust patch. 20" long, 5" wide. I cut some of the rust out and then sanded the area, hit it with primer and filled in the hole with fibreglass.

I know... not perfect, but it will stop the progression.

Tomorrow, I will coat the outside of the fix with truck bed liner... then it will be done.

Yesterday, I was working a car show at the Automobile Driving Museum. Very nice. I will post some pics tomorrow.
