Good Morning CGs!

Welcome to the weekend and a new month!

It was a long day yesterday. Got home from work and we hopped in the car to drive to Rockford which was about an hour and forty five minute drive from us for the Jeff Dunham show. Started at 8, we got there about 7:20 and parked, found our seats. Sat around until 8:15 until the opening act started, he was pretty funny, then there was a 15 minute intermission after him (huh?). Jeff came out around 9:30 or so. Gave a great act that finished up around 10:45. Very funny guy. A lot better in person than on tv. Jokes were a little dirtier than on tv (I don't care) and he did some improv on stage that you could tell wasn't in his act but was hilarious. Definitely worth the ticket price. I just wish I wasn't so darn tired. Drove home, about an hour and a half since there was no traffic. Then we passed out. That was about 1 am.

Today I took the day off so I'm gonna bum around. What are you all up to?

Hope everyone has a great day!

Matthew

I gotta drive down to HomeD for one $.68 lag bolt. With all the crap in my shop, including a box of lag bolts, I still never have the right one.

August 1st, dang where did the summer go? I get to change oil in the pickup today and we have a wedding to go to, looks like another wasted Saturday. Matt, sounds like you had a good time, so what if you're tired, you'll catch up. Bill, isn't that always the case?

Everyone have a great day.

Spent the day yesterday tracking down used appliances in good condition. Picked up a fridge, washer and dryer for 7 bills from a place in the big city. Hooked up the hose from the washer to the faucet and the faucet leaks. Off to Home D for a replacement valve. I have to remember to take some before and after picks of this project house. Monday my wife and the crew are tearing into the overgrown landscaping. Our tile guy is going to set up a black granite countertop, replace the blue bathtub with a white one and hook up some plumbing. This past Thursday mt A/C buddy cleaned the coils, replaced the thermostat and replaced the sump with a new one. At least he told us we had a really good unit. One of the top of the line Rheems in 2004. This morning I mowed the grass at the nursery. Now I have to clean my pool and cut the grass at my house. The other house is getting tented next week. Found a little termite crap. Tonights the car show if I'm not to beat. Missed the drags last night because I didn't stroll into the house till after 8:30 pm. Too late to shower up and head over there. I can tell I'm getting LOL

Sounds like a nice, relaxing day, Tommy! :-P

I slept in, coffee hasn't put a dent in my grogginess yet. Not much on the agenda this weekend, other than getting stuff ready for our trip on Wednesday.

Good morning, Gurus!

Very much enjoyed sleeping in this morning. Been going through emails and such, and I think I'll do some work today.

Last night, I went to dinner with my mom down near pier to a seafood market restaurant. Yummy! It was a beautiful evening by the ocean.
