Almost a month ago One of my old Navy buddies had a heart attack/ stroke..we have been throught deep shit together in Vietnam as well as the rest of our Team. His biggest motivation to walk again is his 1974 vette. In the midst of all this crap about our car hobby, and the inabilitiy of wives and others to understand the bond that guys forge with their cars. Its refreshing to hear his cardiologist say"your lucky you have something so special in your life( his vette) besides your wife and family that motivates you to rehab with such a vengence. Get this guys.. part of his rehab is to get into his vette and coordinate arm and leg/foot motions of gear shift and brake/accel/clutch. Routine seems to help in mental state and physical stimulus. His mental state is unbelievably positive... Would make a great Corvette Commerical.

How funny. My Grandmother's daily rehab involves playing Solitaire on her computer. It helps her maintain her hand eye coordination. LOL.

Hope your friend rehabs fast, both for him and his Vette...which you need to post pics of.

I need to go to that doctor. He can explain to my wife why my rehab plan involves driving my vette

Best wishes to your buddy for a speedy recovery.
