I think immigrants are legal and taxpayers. This is fine with me. Illegals should be departed and not helped. The immigrants who paid their way here should get the help not those who crossed the border.

My Opinion is this is BS. Giving to the needy, hungry, homeless, ets. Is a human choice not a law period. As far as the not in my backyard comment. I have always been in favor in questionable programs near me. Reason is I am gun owner. If the needy become criminals over thankful. I have no issue showing them they should have never entered my home. Point is this, If I want to give to anyone needy or not it should be my choice not law.

Lets face it. There are good and bad points about all technology. It will never please both sides of the arguement. Its good in some ways but on the other hand it can be used against you. Its good when it catches a criminal & bad when you are being told you voided your warranty 2 months ago because you were doing 130 on the highway. These I think are the facts nothing more.

I guess I have worked in a law enforcement organization too long, but there are way too many BGs out there and any tool the LE can use without infringing on my personal rights and space to assist them in thier work is ok by me.

Technology is always pushed under the guise of "getting the bad guy". But soon enough it starts infringing on your rights.

If you are speeding, doesn't that make you "the bad guy"? The cops should just disable your car to ticket you rather than risk a high speed chase or injury. If the cops have that ability, and do not use it, and someone rich/important gets killed, maybe there'll be a lawsuit to impel them.

"If it only saves one life..."

Well said, These are the things that worry me. What s the real reason (not being said) behind the reasons being explained that these are good things for us to have.

Color combo with the wheels looks tough.

Wheels look similar to an 80's era S-10 pickup. Kinda retro cool. How stripped is it? Power windows? Cruise?

Wish a fella could get a stripped V8 for that price.

I hope it treats you well

Thanks, The LS comes with these 18-inch heritage wheels, It has all the good options, power windows, A/c, keyless entry, cruise, tilt telescoping steering wheel. It has been fun so far.

I ride is great and it handles very well. ( I hear on a race track they don't handle well, But I'm not going to try to test its cornering limits on city street) As far as street driving its fun as hell. Even with the V-6 at 304hp It feel really powerful through the 30-70 mph range. For a daily driver I thnk t was great deal for the money.

I picked up a new Camaro today, Since I have a company car (van) My girl will be driving it.So she ordered it. It's a base and I mean base model. It was ordered without a spare tire thats how base it is. It was fun to drive today and even though it is a heavy car, It rode and handled great. It was a great buy @ 22k.

I agree it has to hurt being ripped off. On the other hand to spend the time to hunt and build a new collection is priceless time spent with your dad.

Everything happens for a reason. Maybe this time I spend with him collecting and rekindling a passion he had will mean more to him then his collection lost, and will help me get rid of the woulda, coulda, shoulda's.

The betrayal hurts more than the total of the loss to me, and I know the stolen bond between you and your Father hurts you the most.

So sorry. I hope the police find the clear path and can recover the silver. Good luck.

Its still ungoing with the law, This happened last saturday. You are right, I feel like a disappointment to my father. He spent years collecting it and I couldn't hold unto it for 2 months. This is the shitty part. I told him I will replace it, This is the only thing that I feel will help me get over this. I told him every month we will pick out a few hundred dollars in silver pieces together and will stop once we get to 80LBS. He thinks I'm nuts, But its just the way I feel.

My apartment was robbed of 80LBS of silver. My father is now almost 70 years of age, I went to see him for 2 weeks in July. He gave me his silver collection (I didn't want it). he said I he passes I would have to pay tax. I took it and brought it home. I told 2 people this story. After 2 short months, It is now gone. All signs point to one person. They only took the collection and even left $600 cash in plain sight. They took the coins out of the rolls and out of the books, Cops think they spent over an hour in the room it was in taking it and putting everything back. As if nothing ever happened. The Cops tell me its someone I know and call a friend. I can overcome this and will But I will never trust anyone again. It also sucked telling my dad its all gone.
