Letty, one of the complainers drives a Maserati sedan and comes to shop at the nursery wearing high heels. She was the one that said Sue was condesending. Another complained after saying she was going to repot the plants but instead put them on their balcony in the black nursery pots. The photos showed dropped leaves. Lack of water? She also complained about a grass she bought being rootbound in the pot. LOL. Tip. Remove root bound plant from pot. Divide into 4 sections and repot. Now you have 4 plants from 1. You' are never going to please everybody. None the less, Sue can be somewhat direct.

Sorry to hear about your mishap, Tee - but like Tommy, I've hardly seen someone that does what you do who is still all together. Be careful!
Tommy, intense and condescending makes me think she and I might be related lol. Of course, she deals with people, and as ignorant as some are, they get what they get. I try not to give back what I'm given but sometimes it's warranted.
Warm today but cloudy - naturally, since Im off tomorrow, the sun is gone. Seems the sun only shines for government check drawers, not the hardworking. Labor on y'all, I got a wrecker wrap to send to production and a 21' suburban coming in so I can make it look 60s somehow. The pic she sent me is more 80s however - another one of "those" customers.

ONE SUMMER IN COLLEGE I WORKED IN A SHEET-METAL SHOP. THERE WAS AN INTERESTING HIERARCHY. THE STRAW-BOSS DIDN'T HAVE ALL HIS FINGERS, THE FORMAN HAD ONE HAND, THE PERSONNEL DIRECTOR HAD ONE ARM. NEVER SAW THE CEO; THEY MUST HAVE CARRIED HIM AROUND IN A BASKET :-O

I RODE TO WORK WITH A RATHER UNSANITARY OLD MAN WHO LIVED DOWN THE ROAD. HIS FILTHY CAR HAD COCKROACHES! WHEN I'D GET HOME MOM WOULD MAKE ME UNDRESS ON THE BACK PORCH BEFORE I WAS ALLOWED IN THE HOUSE.

In my youth on the streets of Boston we were exposed early to tit for tat confrontations. Today that would be considered bullying. I consider it helping to develop a thick skin. Even though some of the racial expressions today were used with reckless abandon they did not actually have racist intentions. My friend Ruben, a dothead, Steve , my roomate, a slant eye, and I worked with many spics and beaners. My neighborhood in Boston was made up mostly of mics, guineas, kykes, A-rabs and Greeks. Hhhhmm. We didn't have a slang for the Greeks. Back to the Sue thing ..... Most people love her. Some are taken aback. I have many men tell me how lucky I am to have her as my wife. Smartly, I just nod in agreement.

Morning guys... busy couple of days here. Weather is up and down, today is supposed to be low 60s.

It's Rosies' birthday today. I think she is going to help me install the last of the window jambs for the church in the next town over...I'll need a little extra help for the next few days.

Yesterday afternoon while ripping a board on the table saw, I flinched as I pushed it through and caught the end of my right thumb on the blade. Felt like I hit it with a hammer. CLOUDY, CALM, 57 DEGREES THIS MORNING, SUPPOSED TO CLEAR OFF. A WINDY 70 DEGREES IS PREDICTED.

NOTHING ON THE AGENDA AGAIN, DW DOING BETTER WITH THE RIBS.

DEALING WITH ABRASIVE PERSONALITIES THERE ARE THREE POSSIBILITIES:

1. SUBMIT/IGNORE

2. GIVE TIT FOR TAT i.e. RESPOND WITH EXACTLY THE SAME LEVEL OF RUDENESS.

3. WALK; YOU ARE IN NO WAY OBLIGATED TO SPEND MONEY WITH A JERK.

TIT FOR TAT IS MY FAVORITE, BUT YOU MUST RESPOND AT THE EXACT LEVEL. IF YOU ONE-UP IT YOU JUST START A PISSING CONTEST. IF DONE RIGHT T FOR T PUTS THE AGGRESSOR ON NOTICE AND RESETS THE CONVERSATION TO A MORE POLITE LEVEL.

TIME TO FEED THE POOR STARVING DOG---

KEEP AFTER 'EM, Y'ALL

Sorry to hear the pup is still MIA. I had one that knew it was close to her time and she went off and hid to pass alone. That might be what happened. I'm very sorry either way, yes they become our kids. Tommy, you got enough going on wears me out reading all that lol. Busy a bit here today, found out after I sent one to production that it's a full wrap and not a partial, nobody told me, so now it's start over time and I'm getting hollered at. Ready to go home. Arron is sick but better and fever is gone. His boss last night called to check on him and asked if he had Covid saying everyone else up there had it, so I tested him, he was positive. I went to doc for unrelated issues today and I tested negative, intending on it staying that way. also I got the first normal BP reading I've had in a couple years. Sick of docs scolding me claiming it's my bad habits causing elevated BP when it's chronic pain and inflammation. I got an SI joint injection and one for outer hip too and suddenly my pain is mostly gone and my bp is back to normal. Docs never listen.

Ya... old Ham our 16 year old Yorkie is still MIA.... we have officially listed him as gone but not forgotten... I have searched and searched the acreage and surrounding areas but to no avail..... we were close to the decision to put him down but you know how hard a task that is.... he was mostly blind and deaf so we had to keep close track of him... he still moved well and ate well but peed anywhere he was at in or out..... I think of him often.... they are like family to us... Ollie is with us he is like 7 or 8 and full of energy.... thanks for asking....

so your C4 caught what Gris's had? Might be time for an upgrade....

working in the office today.... mostly answering emails from all over from farmers who have seen the you tube vid on Nitro Mag.....

keep firing on all 8 Guru's

AAA towed the 91 back to the shop for a no start condition. Ordered an O2 sensor for the 90. Having the garage door reciever changed over tomorrow to match the new gat opener so we only need 1 remote to open both. Heading out to fill up he gas/diesel cans soon. Have to replace a couple of battery baack ups at the nursery and then clean the house a little. There is enough fur on the floor to make another animal.

Speaking of animals, Marcus, what was the end result of your missing older dog a couple of months back?

Love you guys.

Good morning, sunny here and 60s expected. "substantial sunshine" predicted. Of course it's when I'm at work and not off where I can enjoy it. such is life.
Raising my red solo cup to Toby Keith today, RIP.
Not much happening here yet, have a wrecker to layout and proof, we'll see what's next. Hopefully nothing. Arron still home sick as a dog, called off work again today, that's not like him. Fever comes and goes, no other symptoms except sinus drainage and fever. Gris, hope wife gets better soon until then, enjoy the vittles.

Sue burned through another set of pads and rotors on the Suburban. I laugh becasue she complains about the way I brake but it's her who likes to wait till the last minute to reduce speed. She's always trying to break speed and distance records. Eveything is urgent to her. Well at least the brakes are now way up firm and high.

That is what Bob is singing about here. Right?

My apple watch don't call 911 and I give it plenty of reasons to I think. Maybe it's cause I have an older one. Got home not too long ago from UAMS in Little Rock, got my SI joint injections and some on outer hip, now I hurt all over from it. Figure we'll see if it works next few days when it all kicks in. I hate going over there, it was 65 and sunny here today, figures when I have crap to do and can't sit and enjoy it. Arron is sick had high fever last night and still has fever today, said he has some sinus drainage so guessing he has some of the crud going around. He has a truck here to look at and one next town over that needs an O2 sensor to finish up. Figure he'll call off work again tomorrow. Gris, hope DW is feeling better.

Hey guys, nice day here, mid 50s and no wind.

My damn watch thinks I fall all the time. Mostly when I'm using my hand/fist to 'persuade' something into place. If I don't catch it it has called 911.

Headed over to the 'city' to take GS his Caddy back... had to put a new battery in it for him.

I was watching my fighting Yorkie take after a squirrel this morning walking across the deck and went to step down on the steps leading to the shop and they were like ice and I went down hard.... hit my elbow pretty good but avoided hitting my head... I was wearing my tinfoil helmet anyway so probably would not have been hurt...

I'm laying there and my phone rings and says its 911 and my watch indicated that I had fallen and the phone dialed 911...so I told them I was ok and not to send the unit... but I see now why Doc makes me wear this watch... damnation on falling.... me and old Joe, I wonder if he has an apple watch.... nah...he has secret servicemen to pick him up...

My home fire alarm went of at 05:22 letting me know it had a low battery. Don't believe I changed the batteries on the last time change. First thing after a couple of sips of coffee I changed all three smoke detector batteries. I'll be good for awhile now with those. Hhhhmmm. I'm guessing it must be time to clean the fan filters on the stovetop, check for dust bunnies on the all refrigerator and freezer screens and find a few other maintenance tasks that I need to do every decade whether they need it or not. I'm sure it's close to time for the water filter and A/C blower filter to get changed. Never a shortage of tasks that need attention. Have you seen any of those houses that are spotlessly clean and everything organized and in it's place? Well, that would not be our house ...... I have have one of those "It's on the list" homes. My chore list is so long I stopped writing lists.

Good Morning CGs!

Still not used to writing 2024 yet. I guess by the time I'm used to it we'll be writing 2025.

Should be sunny and I'm the lower 40s today. They are saying upper 50s by mid-week but I'll believe it when I see it.

The headlights on the accord were getting pretty bad with the crazing/frosting on the plastic. Took it to Dave's shop the other day and he polished them. Just about good as new. I recommend it if your lights are getting hazy.

Hope everyone has a great day!

Happy Sunday CGs!

Sun is out and it looks nice out. Still cold at night when I'm lurking around.

Broken ribs are no fun, Gris. Hope the wife feels better soon.

TB, the dells are a nice place to visit. We go every summer, sometimes twice.

Hope everyone has a great day!

G'mornin.

Rainy, windy start with a tornado warning just to the north of us. Has a deluge for about an hour that filled up the gulleys real quick.

Morning guys... damp. cloudy and dreary here. Looks like we actually had some rain last night....we'll take it. Highs today should be near normal, mid 40s.

Not a lot on the agenda. KofC council hosting district freethrow contest this afternoon. Then #2 is having us over for supper to celebrate Rosies' birthday (actually Thursday).

Next Sunday will be our annual trip to Dodge City to the casino. Our celebration of Rosies' birthday. If it is nice, we'll take James. Hasn't been off the lift since October.

Planning a trip to Wisconsin Dells this summer. Meeting a Corvette friend from that 'other' forum. He's retiring May 1, so, sort of, a celebration of that event.

Healing mojo for the DW Gris. It sucks those things happen.

STILL WET, 48 ON THE FRONT PORCH, PREDICTED HIGH OF 50. IT'S SUPPOSED TO CLEAR OFF TONIGHT, BE NICE TOMORROW.

BIG DAUGHTER AND FAMILY CAME OVER YESTERDAY TO HELP PUT CHRISTMAS STUFF UNDER THE HOUSE. WHILE DOING SO DARLING WIFE TRIPPED ON SOMETHING, FELL DOWN AND CRACKED TWO RIBS. THE VETERINARIAN AND THE ORTHOPOD DECIDED SHE SHOULD GO TO THE ER. THAT TOOK MOST OF THE DAY. SHE IS DOING FINE, JUST SORE.

DAUGHTER TOOK BARNCAT BACK WITH HER FOR OVERHAUL.

THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE GRANDDAUGHTERS IS AMUSING: #7 IS MISS EFFICIENCY AND #4 IS DRESSY BESSIE:-)

TIME TO FEED TROUBLE---

ALWAYS FORWARD, GURUS

I'm with Tommy, use that stuff up. Currently, send some to us over here near Memphis. "protesters" have blocked the bridge into Tennessee. I think all them should be jailed.
Sunny somewhat here, wasn't a bad day at all. Spent half the day adding tags to junk then up there sorting through the flea market booth, they're filling up with vendors, still building booths and such. Came home and have been doing a few things, can't tell it though. Watered a plant in the living room then saw water in the floor, guessing my drip pan has a crack or something, now I think I've ruined that part of the floor. We'd planned to do new flooring at some point anyway, but don't want it worse than it already is. I just want to get my favorite things and just start over somewhere else.

Hey guys, day started out cool, damp and cloudy. As it wore on, the clouds and dampness faded. Ended up in the mid 50s, not bad for February.

Worked in the shop until time to get ready for church.

The U.S. has mega tons of munitions that have close expiration dates or are expired. What better way to get rid of old stock than to utilize it. We have enough enemy targets to clear out many bunkers and warehouses. Think of it as a cost effective deployment.

Hey guys, day started out nice and sunny, then around noon the clouds built up and started raining. Drizzled all afternoon. We'll take the moisture whenever and as much as we can get.

Worked in the shop all day, got a lot done.

I do have that same weather, sunny here, will be nice tomorrow then rain sets in and clearing off Monday. Of course, while I was at work it was fabulous, but rains when I'm off and considering taking the Vette for a nice Sunday drive. got up this morning and drove to Jonesboro and went to the gym, then a couple grocery stores and home. I need to put tags on some more junk to take to the flea market booth, of course cousin went up there with more of her stuff and used up all my tag strings. I can't stand crap like that. I mean I bought them, go buy your own. And now, I don't have any and will have to get back out later to get more. She gets on my last nerve.

Trying men's souls has been a lifetime occupation for some.

Nice day today high 50's and into the 70's. I did a little too much pulling when I took out the trash cans. My stitches did not approve. Typical of me to try to do more than I should. Doc said I should take it easy. Better listen to the doc.

CLEAR, CALM, 52 DEGREES GOING FOR 66. LAST PRETTY DAY FOR A WHILE, FORECASTERS SAY IT'S GONNA RAIN ALL WEEKEND THEN CLEAR OFF MONDAY. THEY MUST THINK THE VB LIVES HERE:-)

TODAY'S MISSION IS TO BLOW THE MESS OFF THE PATIOS BEFORE THE RAIN MAKES IT WORSE. MAY GO OVER TO MUSKOGEE TO SEE IF THEY HAVE THE BIRDSEED I WANT.

TIME TO FEED THE POOR STARVING DOG. (THAT'S HIS OPINION)

ALLONS, AMIGOS!
