Afternoon guys....it's Friday....all day long. The kids are wild today and I haven't even got to my middle school classes, they are likely to be over the hill. Thank God those class periods are only 42 minutes.

Good morning guys...Matt, I'm like you, I've never liked reading "for pleasure". I read all the time, but it's Woodworking magazines, books like "All Corvettes are Red", "Corvette, Americas Sports Car" and the like. But I got into reading John Grisham and really enjoyed them. I slept like a baby last night. Probably due to all the fresh air working the track meet and then coming home and playing some catch with my grandsons.

It's going to be quiet around the house this evening. One grandson is going away to a friends house for the weekend, another is spending the night with a friend and the third is going to spend the early evening with a friend, the daughter is going to a concert.

I have some things to do in the shop, so I'll get started on that. Got to get to school......

Morning guys.....I'm thinking about going a different direction with my accountant too. I really do all the work and all he does is punch in the numbers and let the computer do the figuring, tells me how much I owe, then sends me a bill (which, by the way, has increased $50 every year. I'm paying three times what the original cost was, and the work he does has not increased by that amount).

Brad, sorry you don't like the Corsa sound. I doubt you'll have any trouble selling it, albeit at a loss no doubt. Marcus, I have done that too, only to find the thread I started is high on the list. Matt, when I was in your position (with little ones), I made the deal with my wife; You get up with them when they are babies (I couldn't do much anyway as she breast fed), then I would get up with them after that time. Bad deal for me, as I was up more in the middle of the night with them as they grew up than she did while they were babies. Bill, that doesn't sound like too much fun, but hopefully you'll get it done. Let me know when your package arrives, should be any day now.

It's Thursday, and my beginning woodworking class was absolutely brain dead this morning. We have a MS track meet here today, and I am running off the Boys Discus throw. At least the weather is going to be nice, 70's and light wind 10-20mph.

Polished up the pickup, washed the wife's car, then polished and waxed it. My hands hurt, I'm tired, so I took a nap....still tired and my hands still hurt, but the pickup and the car look great.

Good morning....I'm up. I didn't get everything done I had planned yesterday. So today I'll try to get those things done. Got a new microwave and got the pickup washed, that's about it. Good morning guys...I'm not sure what to declare today as. Going to the 'city' to do some shopping. Microwave shot craps last weekend, so need to buy one of those. Groceries, and a few things at Home Depot.

Unlike Matt, I do like to detail and may wash and wax the pickup today. I still have that office unit out in the shop, so I can't really start anything else out there. Need to wash an detail the wife's car, so maybe I'll start on that too.

Don, glad to hear you are going to get the engine home, at least that way when you do have time you can start putting in back in. Matt, I understand the motivation thing, I can't seem to stay motivated on the P90. I have lost about 15 lbs. and my stamina is much better, but the last few days it's been tough to go down and do it. Tommy, did you find a car hauler, or are you pulling it back yourself? Yes, I remember you putting the Corsa on. Well, I loved the sound of my Corsa system on my 94 (stock exhaust manifolds). And I understand that the headers make a huge difference in volume with Corsa.

Good morning guys....Marcus, you and yours sound a lot like me and mine (except we are going on 36 years). I will sit and watch some shows she watches, but luckily for me she's not into those reality programs (except for biggest loser a little). Weekend weather is supposed be great...possible showers off and on (I know most of you would not think that as being great, but we need the moisture bad) and temps in the 70's and low 80's.

Marcus, I do hope that your header shows today...although I don't have a good feeling about it happening. Brad, I must have missed the fact that you are putting the exhaust manifolds back on....Why is that?

I need to go back out to the place where I worked on the computers yesterday. They had a couple of issues that I had to bring home the computer and work out, so today I get to go back out and finish up. Really nice people to work for. Migrating from a Win98 machine to a Win7.....talk about culture shock. And of course none of the programs they are using now are compatible. So migrating the data to something that will work in Win7 is the biggest issue. The other computers were migrating from WinXp to Mac, really not as much of an issue, but they are making some major changes.

Morning guys....Prudent driving Matt. Don, I hope the MRI gives more info, try and get stuff done out of the office takes a lot of internal fortitude. I bought a Die Hard the last time, for the Corvette. For the wife's Bonneville, I bought AC/Delco, because I could not find one the right size made by anyone else. And that stupid thing resides under the back seat of the car.

I've been pretty busy this morning, the dining table that I built, I had the guy come by and pick it up. While he was here he ordered another dining table, so I guess I'll be building another one.

ECM isn't getting the right info or there's a problem with the engine...I'm guessing a sensor or electrical connection.

I got some of what I wanted to get done last night, I still need to contact a gentlemen out south of town in the hills and go work on his computer. I have a couple of little plaques to make for wedding presents. And I have a lady that wants me to come over and measure for a cabinet to hold a TV outside on their deck. So, I have plenty of work to do.

I've decided that I need to help my tax situation some and I'm going to contribute more to my 457 account, from my teaching salary. Hopefully that will help me this year (2011) on taxes.

Afternoon guys....I've been on the road since 7:30am. Now in KC. You guys make me laugh. Marcus, I'll believe it it when you say it came. Would be nice as it's not supposed to be a great outdoor weekend. When we left home this morning the sun was shining bright and it was supposed to be in the upper 50's, but as we made our way east, the colder and cloudier it got 41 when we got here.

The two older grandkids just came in from school, I received two big hugs and kisses.

Thermostats are getting more and more complicated all the time, no reason for it IMO.

Afternoon guys...I've been busy...again. Working in the shop and out in the garage. One of my compressors starting acting up and I thought it was the pop off valve, so I bought a new one.....it wasn't the valve but the air switch itself. I'm off to the internet to see if I can find a replacement. It's much cooler here today.

Weather here is going to be seasonably warm today and beings it is March, WINDY....again. I got the desktop done yesterday...short the spraying of the finish along the edges (which I will do this morning). Today I need to go to the wife's work and figure out why she can't print to one of her printers. This afternoon I will go over to the place where I did the counter top for the outdoor kitchen and give it a final polishing. The owners are hosting a get together-bbq on Sunday so I want the counter top to look it's best.

The wife, youngest GS and I will be headed for KC on Friday morning to visit the grands up there.

DLR hasn't aged too well, crap he's our (Tommy, Brad and I) age, I don't think I look that bad today....I didn't look like that when we were younger either....

I finished up the bathroom yesterday afternoon, only a couple other leaks to fix along the way. Everything dry this morning. I washed, buffed and sealed the Corvette and got the wife's DD all cleaned up as well. This morning I have been in the shop, building desktops for that office unit I have been working on. This afternoon I hope to get those finished up.
