Good Morning CGs!
Just a brief start to the day, can't be late for work  Frustrated with the car a little bit. It's having a couple quirks that I need to chase down. Maf is throwing an intermittent when I drive it and the outside temp is in the 30s. That and the other day when I was trying to datalog I got an ALDL disconnect with no data. Grrr...I need to track it down, but might point to ECM. Could be something simple like a loose chip, but I have to do some diagnostics. My last tank of gas got 10 mpg! That's down from about 18 last fall, so something is going on. I cleaned the maf last night to see if that helps today. Oh well, I can only test the systems and see. Hope everyone has a great day! Greetings! 10mpg? OUCH! Hope you get that sorted out pronto. I've been pecking away at my car - things were going too smoothly. Last night I fubarred one of the AIR pipes, long-discontinued, so I'll be scouring the 'net for one today. Ughhhhhh!

Raining like crazy here this morning. Which really throws my day off since we sell plumbing supplies and jobsites tend to become mudpits sucking our trucks in.
Other than that..just another day. Didn't work on the Vette last night so I didn't break anything. Matthew, hope you find that it's something simple. Brad, hope you find that part! |

Good morning Guru's. I am slow getting going again today after another long night working on what I call the Guru Anthology. Lot's of great rock and roll there. I was thinking it should be set up as it's own entity so guru's can enjoy it anytime or add to it if they want.........just thinking out loud.
Matt something isn't right, hope you find it. Brad can't you dump the AIR? Or do you need it where you live? Jeff rain is good except when you are trying to get work done. I would take some rain here instead of the snow. Header was promised to be here Friday so we will see. Any bets? Didn't think so. I know I wouldn't bet on it. Well gotta go work out, it's stretch day so it won't be too bad. Then I have some office work to do before the weather clears up and we are off and running. Have a good day Guru's! |

Rain, damit. What's the one day that rain is forecasted here? Saturday when we'll be at the racetrack.
 And I have to do tech inspection on 50 cars, I'll be soaked by 8:30.  Guess I'll use some casino winnings and treat the C4 to a new battery today. |

Off from my primary job today, but working most of the day on various Corvette stuff, some with the car (I'm going to go through at least part of the performance verification) and some with the various newsletter and registration stuff. 10 mpg - ugh: something's gotta be wrong, Matt. |

Good morning guys... Another busy morning here at school. I have a bad feeling about today, just hope it goes by quickly.
Marcus, I wouldn't bet that it comes. Brad, doesn't it pi$$ you off when you do something like that? Hope you can find the part easily. Bill, take your rubbers on Saturday we'd hate for you to catch something. Jeff, I know what you mean, rain and construction sites don't go well together. Matt, I sure hope that you can figure out the problem, there is obviously a problem. ECM isn't getting the right info or there's a problem with the engine...I'm guessing a sensor or electrical connection.I got some of what I wanted to get done last night, I still need to contact a gentlemen out south of town in the hills and go work on his computer. I have a couple of little plaques to make for wedding presents. And I have a lady that wants me to come over and measure for a cabinet to hold a TV outside on their deck. So, I have plenty of work to do. Kids are calling.... |

This Music Minutes that BillH started has taken on a life of it's own. I see that Bill has once again inserted his favorite Steve Martin jam. As with all these M M threads there are dupes from days gone by. Sort of members favorites I would say.
Was up and at em early once again. Got home around noon. Have to take a quick shower and head to the tag agency. Let's see if they will transfer title to me on the 928. I have the right paperwork. I just hope the clerk there is in a good mood. |

Header locking bolts seem like a good idea when you install them with the engine out of the car.
At least this is turning out to be a worthwhile exercise. I just got the driver's side header off, and found that the gasket had blown out in 2 places. |

Good Evening Guys. Productive day, Signed up for Soc Sec, checked about my VA benefits, broke up a fight in the hallway, my students finished 3 school projects, and had a kid seizure in the finish room. Wow 41 more days, oh yeah some irrate parent threatened to kill me tonight! yeah like I haven't heard that before! Something about me being white and not caring about her son getting a splinter in his hand blah, blah... she smelled like pot. Cool!
