IIRC, I paid $125 for the 2 manuals for my 92.
I bought the manuals the same week that I bought the 92.
Didn't want to spend that much but they've paid for themselves,

$200 per day plus hotel & travel expenses (and U have to pay to get on the track).

But you can run over to Omaha on a Friday and go thru a school and have an instructor for $220 total.

http://www.racewayparkofthemidlands.com/site/Roadcourse

Less that 1/10 the cost of a bid motor upgrade that's only worth bragging rights on the street (if you want to keep your license).

Money's better spent on a driving school learning how to handle the power you currently have.

Well I thought there may only be one book but I was wrong AND Google is screwed up.

There are 2 and you have to Google Electrical Diagnosis Factory manual.

Both are still half the price I paid for my manuals.

That one, Steve says Supplement so it's an addition to the big manual.

The 92 & 94 manuals I have are 2 books, I'm not sure on the earlier ones.

Looking around, here's (at least) the main manual from a legit seller.

Well, yea on the Vettes.

Back when I had Vette number one (out of 7), a friend had a 240. He spent some bucks on it, Panasport wheels, pearl white paint with bright pearl blue racing stripes, black interior with blue seat inserts and blue door panel inserts that matched the stripes. 4 point rollbar, reworked heads, cam and 3 Weber carbs. Plus Abarth exhaust with twin tips in front of the driver's side rear wheel.

He did some hill climbs with it. It was decent fast for a 6.

It looks pretty good.

I bought a 78 Datsun 280Z like that for 2 grand. The guy had it painted and his wife decided she didn't want to drive it. Sat outside for 4 years.

I buffed the paint, came out like new, polished the alum wheels and just cleaned the interior. Drove it for 4 months & sold it for $4,500.

Cool for 10 months. Heat for 1. I get 2 weeks on each side of winter when the HVAC system gets a break. Summer is like 6 months long here. UNbeleivable.

Only reason I asked is that I couldn't figger how that equals $100 per month.

I have a blue belt, a couple gees, some numchucks and a box full of throwing stars.

A one acre lot, a block from me is listed at $225,000

Actually, now I'm thinking about a garage addition. My house is smaller that that but by adding a garage, I could turn the old garage into another bedroom and full bath.

The trailer only fit race cars not Corvettes.

That's $15k off because they over heat when you drive them like a sports car. Better off waiting for a 2017 cause GM publically stated that they are going to fix the problem.

Speaking of money, the house beside me just went up for sale.
I didn't realize how much prices were going up around here.

It's just a rancher, 3b,2b , 2 car garage on slightly over an acre. It is 1,800 sq.ft.

BUT, it's listed for $479,000. Good grief.

Somewhere there's a hot wire (key on) that's touching bare metal. This stuff doesn't burn up like this unless it's shorted.

I only have their straight, air die grinder, I only bought it to reach a place on the race car where my good Ingersoll-Rand right angle die grinder wouldn't fit. It uses twice the amount of air that my good one does but, then I paid $8 for it.

I did buy a dremel kit for $7 but I bought it for the accessories, it has 3 different size arbors. The Dremel arbor's at Home D were $11 each. The HF dremel unit itself was laughable , thru it away.

Yea, the General tool box had good reviews everywhere lie the GrassRoots Motorsports forum.

My 7 drawer top box is a Proto and my 3 drawer mid is a snap on. Bought both in like 1973. I'd like to get everything into just the roller.

Also, the other rollers out there, Husky, Sears, Kobalt all have a 9 drawer, 44-46 inch. but those drawers are really deep like for power drills etc. Putting hand tolls in them an you'd just have to dig down thru to the bottom, 13 drawers makes more sense.

Nothing but Snap On here on Craig's list. The Husky's at HomeD are decent but the wrong size. Craftsman has to be on sale to get a decent value. I may end up with a HF one.

the GT 40.....one of the coolest car designs of all time......right up there with the 427 AC Cobra and the 63 Split window and of course the C6 Grand Sport........

Nope, the 67 won't fit, this is actually a cargo trailer, it will fit the race cars even the winged ones.

Yea, FeatherLite is the best AND you pay for it, A new 20ft. FeatherLite car trailer is $15,000.

The great thing about my trailer is that: no equalizer hitch req'd. , no extended mirrors needed and before the mods and empty it weighs 1,700 lbs. The car trailers are over 3,000. And 16 mpg towing with the Silverado.

That GT40 has a 450 horse 351 Winsor, he just bought an original manifold and carbs for it - 4 Weber 2 barrels with the purdy velocity stacks.

Thanks TB. They are the same prefinished floors from Menard's that match the rest of the house.
Bill, congrats on the sale.

Thanks Matt, now I have to buy a new roller cabinet.

Nice floor, it looks identical to my living room floor.

I got a $600 check in the mail , deposit on my FeatherLite race trailer.
I REALLY hate to see it go but I wasn't using it.
The guy is paying full price, no haggle.

A new one without the $3k in mods that I did is $10,000.

My detector shuts off when I turn the key to "off".

MGB's are OK but, I like Austin Healeys better.

My race buddy , Julian stopped by to day to run a few bolts out of the trailer floor (2 man job).

Wish this was in my garage.

So is there anything I can jumper together to get codes on the screen in the car?

Yes, I believe the info Don posted in post 3 is incorrect. Read this:

http://www.neilkline.com/Tech%20Tips/obdcodes.htm

And read the section on the 92/93 to know how to use the dash buttons.

This procedure is outlined it the FSM.

You REALLY can't work on a C4 without an FSM.

Number of cars registered at H.A.N. this year - 6,000

At every stop light, you get to hear the subtle sound of slightly muffled muscle cars.

9 a.m. when the doors were supposed to open.

This is NOT EVEN a car show just early customers.

Summit cheated and opened the doors early, I got there at 8:55 and there were 20 customers ahead of me at the cashier.
