Cool again this morning, but when we went to bed it was still 81, so we left the house shut up. One more day of heat, a little cooleer tomorrow and then a real cool down coming Friday and the weekend.
Building a small cedar bottom chest for the baby furniture people. Made good progress on it yesterday. I trust everyone here will have a great day! |

Yep up to low 90's for the next 2 days.....then cool down and chance of rain on Friday........just doing irrigation scheduling this week......which is easy...run on everything all the time.......easy peasy.....
I actually am pondering installing an A&A supercharger this winter...been doing a bunch of research and think they have the best kit and price on the market......and the best tech support.....only will run about 4 to 5 lbs of boost on the stock LS3 engine of which I will install some long tube headers also......not a cheap deal but cheaper than a new Z06......buy a long shot.....anyway still pondering...... Have a sublime day Guru's....... |

Howdy! We had just hit our approach shots to the 3rd green when it started raining hard last night, so we high-tailed it for the woods, hoping it would blow over quickly. 45 minutes later, it cleared up enough for us to putt out and head back to the clubhouse - we got about 2 inches, so the course was a mess. Roads were still kinda wet this morning, so the Vette is in the garage. But traffic was about as good as it gets, so perhaps it is a state holiday for morons. Meanwhile, last workday for this week, I have tomorrow and Friday off to play golf. Probably in the rain.

OVERCAST AND COOL IN THE NATIONS THIS MORNING. THE CHEROKEES ARE OK WITH THAT. HAD A NICE VISIT WITH OUR FRIENDS IN TULSA YESTERDAY. HARVEY RAN LIKE A SEWING MACHINE & GOT LOTS OF COMPLIMENTS. THE "INCREDIBLE SHRINKING GUNSHOW" IS THIS WEEKEND, WE'LL SET UP FRIDAY AFTERNOON. RAIN PREDICTED FOR THE WEEKEND, MAYBE THAT WILL HELP THE GATE. Marcus, I think you need long tubes and a supercharger. One of the best upgrades you can do for a stock car, I think. I would do that if I had one
 Feeling a lite better today, but not too much. Stopped taking the pain meds the other day because I didn't like the effect on me. Back to the doctor on Friday, hope for good news. Hope everyone has a great day! |

...there is a track at Hastings which Corvette guys seem to like.....One of the big sponsers is Harchelroad Motors out in Imperial. They are a Callaway dealer also....
anyway the track in Hastings is called Motorsport Park Hastings or MPH and they have a nice set up.....a friend of mine from over there has a GS and he went thru their school and really liked it.....so I better get over there.....I would like to find another set of wheels so I could mount my other tires on so I don't scrub up my good ones.....damn things are pricy..... |

BTW, I have about 12 - 1/2 hour sessions on my Hankooks and there's 3 years of street driving left on them easy.

Had one of those never ending days when I jumped from broken/damaged thing to the next. This was AFTER I had already done my full day's worth of chores. I'm sure some of these things are going to bleed into tomorrow, namely, the ice maker at the nursery. It will have to wait till after I get back from getting my teeth cleaned. People are calling and asking us to join them for dinner soon. I just love taking time out from a busy unfinished schedule to schmooz around. Blah, blah, blah, so on and so forth ............ Beautiful day, if not just a touch warm. I got the chest assembled and glued together. Repaired a mower for my daughter and got a call to substitute in a golf league, so my day was pretty good. We didn't play all that well, but we had a good time.
