Gotta warn you.....we ran out of coffee for the Keurig coffee maker......you know the little cups......so starting the day with no caffeine....I am grumpy......

I remember when the old coffee pot used to come on and have a nice hot pot of coffee waiting for when we woke up......a big pot of Folger's....mmmm.....but it was replaced with the new and modern and here I sit......longing for the old days.......when Reagan was president....

Someone said the other day we have not had a good President since Reagan and I had to agree....the man brought honor to the Nation......how can we have drifted so far.......

I decided to slow charge the dead battery just to see how it does.....I would like it to get me thru this season....if not then I will go buy a new one....

Morning guys....Still have coffee here, just about ready to get cup #2. It is cool out there now, but it's supposed to get hot and muggy. We had a small shower last night, just enough to make it humid this morning.

I have some stuff to do in the shop today, so better get to it.

I thought I would take my bride out to eat this evening for our 41st anniversary...but she told me this morning, when she gets off work she wants to go swimming (what she does after work every day in the summertime) and she was going to fix supper. So much for my surprise dinner date.

Went to bed around 11:00 PM. Woke at around 01:30 AM to hear heavy breathing (like from running), laughing/chuckling and someone cough just outside my bedroom window. Not good. I turned on some lights and spooked them, plus called the cops. 30 minutes to get out to us. Sue said "Why didn't you just quietly sneak up on them and shoot?" I told her I don't want to kill someone for just trespassing. I don't want to shoot them at the nursery for short money rip offs either. (For 10K they're dead.) My patience is wearing thin though and some poor bastard is gonna be on the wrong side of my gun if this shit keeps up. Home vid revealed nothing as they were not in the camera's field. A search of the property turned up nothing. Like I said, I spooked them and they ran off. She asked me if I peeked out through the blinds. It would have scared the shit out of me if someone was peering back. lol

Dang Tommy.... one thing after the other. People on the outside my home I don't worry about too much but once they come thru that door.

I really dislike coffee... wouldn't even have Keurig in the house if the wife didn't like it so much.

My ankle is so much better after a week and some change. Still iffy feeling going down stairs and the bottom of my foot hurts but hopefully by the end of this week I'll be near 100%.

Hope everyone had a nice weekend and Monday. Not much at the body shop yesterday, clean the place up to get ready to start over, tear down the front of an Expedition, then he decided to remove the old top on the '89 Vette and start putting in the new one. He painted the front over the weekend. That was enough. I never want to see a convertible Vette again I dont' think. Now i know why his upholstery dude refuses to do them. Huge PITA.

Got up this morning and after breakfast we headed to the outlet mall for some back to school shopping. Spent most of the day there. On the way home stopped at Costco for a few items. Seems money comes out of the bank account much easier than it goes in...

It was so freeking hot out today.......like 91 but feels like 103.......I can attest it felt every bit like 103........

Not as big a day tomorrow so I may get to sleep in.....to 7......am.......nice!

Tommy where are your herd of dogs at? they should have been raising the roof with intruders outside or are they old and tired like me............this older terrier we have barks at folks out on the road which is a way out there........how about motion detector lights? nothing like a bright light to get the vermin heading for the darkness....add to that a recording of a riot gun chambering a round and all will be good....

Well, I guess I was right in letting her do her thing, as she said how good it felt to swim after the long day at work. I'll make it up on Friday. I got a lot done today. The rustic vanity is built, just have drawers and a door to make, then it will be staining and finishing.
