.....Tired this morning....did not get in until 12.30 after spending 4 fun hours at the Beach Boys Temptation concert....

They moving it indoors to the big new arena in Lincoln and opened up the gates for admissions...the outdoor venue had been sold out.....it was a good more because it poured buckets......meanwhile old men and women danced as the BB's and Temps did all the old favorites.....The BB's sounded good....Mike Love and Bruce Johnston.....who has been a part of the group since 65.....he was also the guy who put together the Rip Chords with Hey Little Cobra.......and he wrote I write the songs...by barry Manilow......Wikopedia is my friend.....

The drummer was a familiar name for those of us of a certain age......John Cowsill from the Cowsills ........he did a great job......the others I have not heard of but they can sing......good show but old Mike is doing good for being 75 years of age......he still moves well and does what he always has......

TGIF, indeed! Was gonna drive the Vette, but it looks like rain again. Summer is going by way too fast - football starts tonight for the Viqueens. Lots of promise this year, we'll see if they live up to the hype.

It's been rain off and on all week with some serious thunder boomers. Been a busy work week and of course I'm staying up late watching the summer Olympic games. That and a couple of middle of the night false alarms at the nursery have impeded on my snooze time. Sue has work scheduled for weeks, pretty much all the way up to cruise time. Makes me glad that I booked it.

Morning guys...I slept in a bit this morning, an extra hour. I have a job to go look at this morning. It's about 45 minutes away. This former student that I built the crib and changing table for, but this is for part of their business (they are into cattle feed yards). They bought this small yard about a year and a half ago and are now doing some remodeling in the office.

Well, the onslaught of computer work is starting. I've had two calls in the last 30 minutes about computer problems. I haven't heard anything in weeks, now I'll be inundated for a while, I suppose. That's the way it works around here.

Nose to the grindstone, Tommy. You know we can't really retire. Yea, Bruce Johnston was with them back in the day.

Well, I picked up the job. I have some design work to do and give them an estimate, but it shouldn't be too bad.

Here I am Gurus. Surgery was successful. A bit of pain and discomfort, but nothing too terrible. I was in a pretty good haze yesterday from the anesthesia and meds. Had a hard time sleeping last night. Should improve day by day.

Sounds like everyone is still moving forward.

Was out at the local Cheby store getting the oil changed in Uwomans car when I wandered into the showroom to see a 16 Z06 and a 17 new Grand Sport......I checked them both out and decided the Z06 was the car for me.....it listed for 95,800 and they were selling it for 80,300........holy moly that's 15K off......but I stayed strong and may have whimpered a bit but got out of there before stupid took over......they wanted to trade for my GS......I may someday own a C7 but I just am not lusting over it like I did the C6's when they came out........I don't know why......

Good to hear the surgery went well. If they could take the pain out of surgery a lot more people would be happy to do it. Follow the doctor's orders and take all your medication.
