Good Morning CGs!

Geeze, guys, I almost shorted you all a day and called this Wednesday Chat - I'd never want to do that to you guys!

Well, we had a good time at the zoo yesterday. Baby seemed to enjoy herself. She likes just being outside and people watching, the animals were just a bonus. That and the big carousel she got to ride twice before we went home.

Went over to my buddy's house last night to work on the tint. Got the "precut" tint kit off ebay which wasn't precut. They just imprint an outline for you to follow and then you cut it out yourself. Lame, but ok. Tried to get it to curve on the back glass and it was a bear. No luck. Got it prepped the best I could, but the fingers just wouldn't come out. Tried the inside install and it was going ok but that curve was just too extreme. Not sure if it was the result of cheap film that wouldn't heat and shrink properly or my limited skills in tinting. All I know is that back window is horrible and I understand why a lot of guys do a three piece instead of a one piece install. I'm gonna call someone later and see how much he wants to do both of our cars, maybe we can get a discount

Hope everyone has a great day!

Matthew

If you want to try it again, search porchguy on e-bay. Pre cut perfectly, and outstanding quality film.

Rear window must be done in pieces. I usually seam them right on a defroster grid, so it looks seamless to the rest of the world.

Bummer, Matt! I have to get that done someday - one time a buddy and I went golfing on a hot, sunny day, and he left his sandals in the back of the Vette. When we were done golfing, his sandals were curled up like elf shoes.

Busy day today, thankfully going by quickly. Have a good one, all!

Yea, it's supposed to be the largest in the U.S. They are expecting 100+ ballons.
You have to get up really early to catch the "Dawn Patrol" .
The DP starts before sunrise whic is really cool since firing up the ballons lights everything up.
You also can stand right beside the ballons as this happens and they hand out free champagne.
Champagne at 5 a.m. kinda mellows out your day.

By the way... that snooze had nothing to do with Bills balloon post. That's how I felt when I got home from my wifes Dr appointment. Slept for a couple of hours. Got up feeling a little off, like a stomach flu or something. Pool pump started acting up as soon as I laid down so I turned it off and tended to it when I woke up. So, in keeping with balloons ....

Actually, the ballons are mostly snooze. They don't accelerate that fast.

That's why I'm spending Sat. & Sun. at the racetrack.
