That's expected. I won't need a Z or a ZR1 so I'll go for a fully loaded C6, black on black, and I'll probably get a low mile used one.

I just can't convince myself that I need to spend that much money on a car, any car.

I am with DB... get a late model used and let some other poor dumb bastard eat the depreciation.

If I was to get a C6, it would be the Cyber Gray, with the high end red/black leather interior package. With a 6spd manual and MR shocks. I hear good things about them.

I'd like to stay married, so I wasn't really thinking about getting a new corvette.

No doubt that if I were to spend between $50K and $120K I prefer it to have at least 1 bedroom and 1 bath but it's nice to look and compare model differences and option packages. I agree that it might be nice to pick up a new to me 2010 in say ... 2015.

I'd rather have an OLDER Corvette than a NEWER one. I already have a Corvette that ain't worth much. A new one would be the same thing shortly after it was paid for.
