Good Morning CGs!

Had a hard time falling asleep last night. Dunno why. I just couldn't get warm/comfortable. It was cold outside. I actually got up and put on socks. That may sound funny, but I never wear socks to bed. I was freezing even with a bunch of blankets. For some reason wearing socks makes my whole body feel warm. So laugh it up, but it worked.

Today I plan on tinkering with my starter from hell. I'm gonna bench test it again and see if it decides to engage freely now that I got it to work on the bench last night (couldn't test it more than once because wifey was calling for dinner). I think maybe the brushes or something were frozen up and the bench test might have freed them. But I want to make sure there's no problems inside the case. We'll see.

Hope everyone has a great day!

Matthew

Well, we are in semi-lockdown mode this morning. We have an escapee from the local jail and they are worried that he might try to make his way to the schools. So we are to run with the doors locked today. It's all the talk from the kids.

Me, I have had a little relapse this morning, I don't feel the greatest this morning. Man I wish I could shake this thing.

Matt, I was that way Sunday night. I went to bed but got up and put on some socks....I'm the same way, my feet get cold...I am cold all over.

They're calling for rain today, that'll be wierd. It only rained here 2 days since mid May.

That will probably put today's project on hold. I working on baseboard for the new flooring. Stained some of it yesterday, staining soft wood is a pain here.

I'd do some of the cutting in the garage but that gets the C4 dusty so, I'll wait until the sunshine's back and do it outside.

Depressed this morning. I got the car back yesteday and initially it ran fine coming from the dealership to the house. Remember it had the old tune it from before the gear swap. It threw a Check Engine light as soon as I got on it a little bit. I didn't really stomp it hard, just a nice gentle kick-down.
It was missing a bit too.

I then got it home and flashed it with the new tune I got from Brian and it seemed worse. I then ran a scan with Datmaster and sent it off to Brian so he could take a look. It looks like my DTC code was a "Right O2 sensor fail". However when I clear the codes and let it idle and run normal I get no code until I accelerate. Hopefully we can figure this out by Friday, but if not I'll just keep working it until its fixed.

Hope you guys have a good day. I'll keep you posted.

Had lock down last week /drug sniffing dogs came in...because of the noise in the shop we did'nt hear it the PA call!! In comes this beagle mix drug dog and handler.. Drug cop was not real happy that we did'nt know about lock down!! My reply was I have not learned how to read minds yet!!! Did not hear announcement.. apparently saw dust will render dogs nose useless for a period of time!!!

He overpowered a female jailer last night, beat her up some and took the keys and got out. Still on the loose as of 11 am.

Nothing a couple well placed hollowpoints wouldn't fix.
