Good Morning CGs!

Well, was a busy beaver after work last night. Got home and got a killer workout in, that was great. Right after that I had to go to the store and get some bread for the baby. Came home and ate some dinner, then it was time to give her a bath and put her down for bed. Finished that around 9:30 and went downstairs, cleaned up the kitchen, washed the dishes, and did the carpet. Wife never rented the good rug doctor machine from the grocery store like she said she would, so I used the hoover home version. It gives ok results for small stuff, but there are some tough ground in old stains in the high traffic areas, mostly from the baby. Didn't get those out, but looks better than before. Also had to readjust the water softener, then it was about time for bed. Told you I was busy!

Watching the rugrat today and she's up, so it's time to run.

Hope everyone has a great day!

Matthew

Yep Matt, to raise a baby you need a lot of bread. I performed my domestic duties yesterday. Today it's raining. Woke up several times through the night because of the thunder, lightning and heavy rains. Good day to catch up on paperwork and review some documents. Maybe go for a nice long nap .....

Should be a pretty quiet day here, seems like a lot of folks took the day off. My wife did - I should call to see if she's up yet :-P

Well, the baby has been a holy terror this morning. Wouldn't eat her breakfast, wouldn't eat just about anything else I gave her, wouldn't drink her milk, wouldn't drink her juice. Know what she wanted? My crystal light iced tea. Sucked it down. Don't know why. Drank most of it, of course, except for the part she dumped all over the glass table and carpet (that I just cleaned!). Ugh. Just put her down for a nap and she drank some milk, should be out for a couple of hours. Let daddy get in a work out and finish up some chores. Wanted to make healthy turkey lasagna for dinner tonight - no cheese. Can't go to the store because the wife has the car seat. Oh well, guess it's spaghetti.

Ghost town at work today.

Looking forward to the holiday and the club's trip on Sunday.

Staying home tomorrow to avoid the crowds.

Hey guys! I've been really busy the last two days. The wife and I did the Grandparent day at the granddaughters school yesterday morning and I worked on the garage conversion project for a bit. Then my daughter calls and asks me to call her hubby, so I do. He wants to know if I can pick up the car dolly at the U-haul place and then pick up the Mariner and haul it over to the daughters boss's house who is going to work on it, (See posts from two weeks ago, to read about this saga), good thing I'm in the pickup. So I go and rent the dolly and drive back to their house about 10 miles, I ask him where we go to pick up the car....He says it's about 3 blocks from the U-haul place where I just picked up the dolly...Oh wellllll. We got it on the dolly and and hauled it out to the place where he is going to work on it, get it unloaded and head back. I unhook the dolly and leave it there, as we are staying with the other daughter and there's not room to park the PU and the dolly.

This morning we get up and head over to pick up the dolly and take it back. After that we stop and pick up dome materials we need for the garage conversion project and head back. So this afternoon I've been hanging sheetrock and taping and mudding. This evening we are back to the other daughters house and we are watching the kids as she and her hubby are going over to Lawrence to watch KU basketball game.

This evening while they are gone I'm going to work on trying to fix her van. Several weeks ago someone keyed the cr@p out of the side of her van. Estimated $560 to fix...$500 deductible, so Dad comes to the rescue. I bought one of those Langka kits and have read, several times, the instructions and watched the videos, so we are going to give it a try. I'll let you know how it turns out.

Tomorrow we are back to the other daughters for T-giving, I'll probably try to get a second coat of mud on the seams.

Sorry to have written a novel here, I just wanted to catch up.

Worked my hiney off today, then picked up the two 'feeds a family of 6' dinners I ordered for us for the holidays. No one is in the mood nor has the time to cook and for less than $100 we got two huge birds, bunch of sides, two desserts, the whole mess. Works for me.
Hope you all have a Happy Grazing/Football/Nap day tomorrow

Happy Thanksgiving eve!!!

I had a full week so far. I have been taking another three days of video editing training. I have been self taught for about ten years and just getting some formal training. I'm a multimedia developer but primarily do video editing for resources in my online training courses I design and build for the Air Force. The gal that taught the class this week really knew her shit and could really lay it out for us. Great course. I'm home now sucking down a few Malbecs and then to bed for a full day of Thanksgiving tomorrow
